1) only allow one type of nano/uplink to be active per merc. 2) link equipment to suit not the player. this mean if the player(merc) changes suits all of the equipment the merc deployed using that suit is destroyed.
till then prepare for seas of equipment in central control area(s)/route(s).
why does deploy-able equipment even have a fitting requirement if its not tie to the suit in some after you deploy it. you can't tell me it's that heavy your suit need extra power so you can walk/ sprint normally and your suit use cpu to make sure it doesn't get in the way.
Bad Idea no offense |

Bad Idea no offense do tell me how.
Can't be a good logi with only one nano or uplink, in my uplink suit i use 2 uplinks, 1 std and one adv(would use more but don't have the skills), on my cal logi, i take full effect of the skill and have both triage and ammo hives. Only logi's that shouldn't really be bothered with this are min and gal. since their best equipments are non deployable. Also equipment that gets destroyed upon death.... That would just be plain annoying to have to re uplink, or re hive everything. |

That would just be plain annoying to have to re uplink, or re hive everything. its no on death, its on change of suit. if you spawn in with the same suit its all there. forcing players to chose between which deploy-able effects more the just logis. it decrease the effectiveness of deployed equipment giving reason to have logis on the field rather then supply depot runs to massive drop all the equipment then switch on over to heavy/scout w/e. it makes the game more tactical and teamplay rather one guy drops enough spawn points for a whole skirmish match worth of clones. then goes on his way as a heavy. does it make sense to have each player(able to) on the team drop 20+ uplinks? is this really needed? are you the only logi on the team? to be a good logi you need to support your squad not the whole team. as for the deploy-able equipment bonuses they can be buffed(bonuses not the equipment its self) once this change is made. When you said suit destruction I thought you meant death, my bad. Most of the time I am the only logi and no one else brings hives, but when they do they do actually spam it lol. I see what you mean, it also irks me a little about the suit changing. Uplinks though I feel aren't really spammed. I see maybe 2-3 a game, except in Dom where those uplinks are actually really Important to have in bulk. |

last skirimish i was in there was at least 50 uplinks friendly. it was also on manus peak. but yea there are times when i look around and mine are only ones up even in a dom. this has a greater effect on PC where this is a common tactic that corps enforce using. just to give an idea of how many uplinks a team can deploy active. it is over 300 active at one time. seriously. that is not needed at all and shouldn't be possible. and thats just uplinks
Hasn't happened to me before, or maybe it has, but i never really realized it, was just in a game where my team placed about 20 hives right on the supply depot... I was looking at my map like wtf?! Felt like slapping someone |
