If you don't want to be in an infantry-only match, play skirmish or dom. This is an idiotic notion. He's saying he wants oms(an OFF MAP SUPPORT based mode) to have its own queue so he can play OFF MAP SUPPORT based matches at will... OMS isn't supposed yo be an infantry focused match and if vehicles aren't allowed in ambush then we need the choice between playing ambush and OMS. Its not the same game mode, it never was, stop being an idiot and accept that OMS needs to be given its own queue back so that vehicle players and av players have a gamemode focused on brushing up their skills just like the infantry have ambush. This idea people have of ambush being infantry only is fine if and only if ambush and OMS are separate as they once were.
To sum up, OMS is NOT ambush. Why are we pretending it is??? |

Separate Ambush and OMS into two distinct modes
Ambush: -infantryTDM focused -smaller maps -variety of map focuses between cqc,mid and long range based combat -no vehicles
OMS: -vehicle TDM based -larger maps -long range vehicle based combat -increase amounts of vehicles on the map -Players start the game spawned into a vehicle along with their suit -Offmap support
Everyone wins and get's what they want
Disagree. AV will and does want to be able to queue oms directly. Not all av are also pilots. Putting players into a vehicle at the start would lock oms out to all but pilots, a class that technically isn't in the game yet.
One thing I think should be handled first is the disparity between caldari av (missiles and rails oh my!) Gallente av (sure its a firewall, but can you hit anything with it?) Minmatar av (is that taxi driver asleep? Oh he is *thoom thoom thoom thoom thoom bang*) and amarr av (just like the in-game opening movie. A squad of templar sentinals with lazors shredding through........ Through.... Maybe a nanohive?)
It gets funnier when you mix vehicles in and consider that pilot suits aren't required to pilot vehicles.
This means that caldari are true hit and run. Missiles and rails in a tank carrying a forge sentinel and 2 swarm sentinels.
Gallente are bulldogs closing in with blasters then hopping out to clean up with flux and plc. Sometimes 6 at a time from above yo tank
Minmatar are lightly armored, and no more than a light threat either. no car, but at least the fastest race. give chase with MD and flaylocks. Scare away an lav using your entire payload of flaylock, or use a MD to kill them if they're afk and you have at least a full clip.
Amarr are slow, hulking, zealots intent on proving their superiority. Fortunately when you stomp that slow the rest of the team can match your pace, and you'll need them. The target is elusive, fearsome. Death comes from nowhere at a moments notice. Prepare your lazors, we must focus fire to stand a chance. Most of you probably won't make it but the few who-- there it is! The onikuma! Focus fire everyone I need 16 beams on it now! Its moving too fast I can't get a-augh!!!
