OMG! I don't know why I didn't think of this before. Ok, CCP, you know how you're trying to differentiate suits to make them more unique and more in line with their races? Well, who's to say that every suit has to match numbers in certain categories!!
CalScout was sold as a hunter scout with unparalleled precision abilities. However many players are afraid that will change by taking away their precision bonus. Well, what if we had a natural (with no modules) precision scan of 35?
This way, if you were to grab all scouts at lvl 1, only the Galscout (which is being sold as a stealth scout) can hide under the CalScout. As Amarr Scouts level up they will naturally (again with no modules) be able to compete and pass the CalScout in the precision category...
Unless a Calscout decides to invest in precision enhancers (which is what you want them to do anyways). We'll have to sacrifice some shield tanking, but not to the point where we feel like a slight breeze can kill us, and if we do it right we can still retain our title of Hunter Scouts while still allowing Amarr to become a good viable suit.

oh, ok. Anways, what do you think of changing a Calscout's precision to 35 but still taking away their bonus to precision? I think it's a very good compromise, allowing both Amarr and Caldari to be quite formidable in hunting down prey, without one becoming more OP over the other.
If a Caldari wants to match an Amarr in Precision they have to give up 1 or 2 slots for precision enhancers,
and if an Amarr wants to match Caldari in range, they have to give up some of their low slots.
of course, I'm not very good with numbers so if CCP likes this idea but thinks a different nat precision is better (like 36 or 37) I'm ok with that. |

I basically think the amarr scout tanks too much, with the new bonus it will be op and people will start to request a respec, i think 35+2 precision enhancers will be good anyway
