Vehicles aren't like dropsuits where you can downgrade to such a degree. One infantry death doesn't set you back two whole games, does it? No.
Plus I do run what I can afford to lose... I don't fit proto small turrets... I'm skilled enough to not go negative against conventional AV/vehicles. That's why I run what I run.
Exploits for infantry would be like running a suit you can afford but then all of a sudden BOOM and you lose a lot more than you had expected.

I can make Sica & Soma fits that are cheaper than my AV suits, and I have no problem going ISK-Positive with those. Also, why would a playstyle which does nothing but improve the NPE go to hell? Though after the trials and tribulations that 1.7 put us through, hell isn't that bad in comparison.

Also, any competent AV/ tank will eat up a militia tank alive. That's a death trap I don't want to get into. I fit top tier stuff so I can come out on top in most vehicle engagements and successfully defend myself from top AV.
It's only suicide tactics that screw balance.
