Most armor any competent Gallente scout you'll face will have is around 350-390. 180-200 shield. around the max health you would run with max skills and fittings..
Anything more and you give up any advantage you have as a scout to try and pretend to be something that is better at that role then you.
*Pro-tip* The scouts that are hard to kill aren't the slow armored up ones. |

Its true, when I run Caldari Scout I dont use any shield extenders or armor plates, its 100% EWAR.
