A nicely fit LAV with a good gunner could straight up go against a tank and actually destroy it? Can't do that **** now :/
Earlier I was messing with some tanks in an Lav just driving real close to them, doing circles around the tank and fun stuff like that, The first two were Missles and a Railgun tank. They couldn't even turn to face me before I was on the other side of the tank , but wow one of them slightly bumps into me and instadeath. Later in another game I go against a Blaster tank, **** tracked me so fast, even though the others were so slow, the blaster turrent turned at like 200% the other tanks speed -_-
Remember when there were Vehicle Mods that could make your tank's turrent turn at that speed? But by Tracking at the higher speed you would use up a slot. Not anymore. *Sigh* I miss the old vehicle mods, There was one that increased ground speed and stuff... I would kill to have those back.
Game had more variety, and I respected tankers more back then(If I died to a tank back then he was good).. Hell I even used to have my own little Gunlogi, and a Python, not to mention a logi LAV, I was always tinkering with new fits, and even though I died alot (It was a **** ton, My gunlogi was being beaten up left to right, my python was decent I think I would have gotten like 15+ kills with it back then before it got shot down, the logi Lav was and still is the only vehicle I ever loved, took out tanks in it, took out other logi cars in it... Felt like james ******* bonds driving that thing, ******* Lav now is laughable, except in the case of Lav heavies, and dies to everything) even though I died alot it was fun.
Of course though, not everyone shares the same feelings as me, and to that I say,"Don't Care"
Of course no part in this game compares to my experience in Chromo, back when LAV's can fly, back when heavies were scary(but in a good way), friends played together and we all had hopes this game would go far on the ps3... Oh we were so young and naive back then..

They fixed Murder Lavs you have to be going pretty fast, or downright just land on a person to kill him. |
