DUST Search - Can a Dev please give me feedback about a PS4 port of Legion?

I like consoles as well but this has been my experience since 2000 with online games on the PC over the console. Your going to find that the potential for a longer lasting community for Project Legion on the PC over the console due to the consoles manufacturing\lifespan limits are worth the switch from console to a PC. Even though as time goes by you have to upgrade hardware on your PC you will find CCP games can improve the game and the engine in terms of everything over a lifespan of a game on the PC over the console with less limits per technology, hardware, and game engine.

CCP games foundation is the PC. I have taken part in both communities on both devices for the PS3 and the PC and even despite the movement forward with the X86 platform the console is still limited unlike a PC. This is my opinion as a gamer, a bunny, and a pilot.

My hopes are that one day before I am in my 60's that CCP games will have adapted the MMO of everything and have tasted sweet success so that this company can unleash our dreams in a vibrant living world of New Eden. To me Project Legion is that first step by moving away form the console because CCP Games has realized that they are not only a company of knowledge but also a company of learning.

Unfortunately, I do not have a gaming PC, nor do I plan on purchasing one, so Id love to know if there would be a PS4 port. If there was, Id recommend charging $30 for a download fee, esp. if you get the port early, as you won't have much competition, but if you get it later, id recommend making it free. It's scope will have to be massive. I'd say have it on the PC tll the game is well established, then port it. Trying to start an IP on consoles hurt dust greatly. Many Dust players are done with the game, they won't play Legion. Eve Players on the other hand can't wait. Start the game where the market is, then expand. I'd much rather salivate for a couple months about a good game, then play Legion and run into Dust's problems. Not saying that Dust is bad, I'm thoroughly addicted, but i WANT this IP to succeed, to become the Dust of our dreams, and behind. Rally behind this project CCP. Worry bout consoles AFTER this game is well, making you money and with positive community feedback. From the Clone Wars I came. What they have often said is that they will not make that decision until the game is more fully developed and they are in a position to consider the business case for a PS4 port. I donGÇÖt expect they will even be seriously looking at it for another year or so. What is clear is that after the trouble they had with DUST they will not be developing on the PS4. Legion development will be on the PC where they have full control over the environment. Then once they are happy with it, they may consider a Port to PS4 if the business case supports it. Hand/Eye coordination cannot be taught. For everything else there is the Learning Coalition.

This is true, and more to the point, by the time there is a port to any console, if there will be one, the PS4 will likely already be obsolete.

Dust is not reaching its potential on console, it needs a lot of work. PC allows CCP to get their game to what they would consider "up to scratch".
