For me its Wulfguard or something dude is like always deep in the redline with a thales and a heavy...... takes me like all match to kill him

I usually avoid their area of view of its ambush. If its objective, I FG them with a roaring laughter. I respect no sniper. |

So many scrubs, so few making an impact.
This new RR sniping thing kinda sucks, from a Heavy's perspective, but it's what that gun is designed for so, ....Meh.

Pelongis (spelling?). I once got into a "territory" dispute with him in an Ashland Domination game. We both had Thales on and I managed to get to the "sweet spot" for sniping first. He then tried to boot me from my little nest by calling in an LAV over me, but I was smart and moved out of the way. Not refusing to leave my spot, he kept calling in LAVs and I got tired of it, so I decided to blow about 10 of his jeeps up by driving them into the redline.
Well, the whole match played out with neither of us doing any sniping. We just kept blocking, smacking, and trying to run each other over. It was actually fun... I wonder if he remembers that match. |

That should be less prevalent comsidering the range on them was nerfed. Thats just my observation. |

SymbioticForks for me hands down. The dude doesnt set in the redline. He gets in crazy places, and then he doesnt miss. One of the few snipers with skill I respect. |

Good snipers that I play with everyday get 20+ kills a game. You play with bad snipers. My theory on this is as follows. A merc comes to play Dust and they suck, so they go snipe. Consequently they suck as snipers. Most good shooters do not snipe thats just how it is. But good snipers, like Wulfgard, Forks,, FunkmasterWhale and others are good players period and thus make good snipers. Thanks, that is all. |

Haven't come up against any real big names as far as snipers go yet, but me and Mr Reacher always get into a sniper duel everytime we're on opposing teams. that last the entire match of us just going back n forth on killing each other.

I can usually find 90% of the snipers that I come across if I dedicate myself in searching for them either for a few minutes, or if they hit me in the open.
I sometimes ask where a squad mate died, and then I think about where the shot could have came from.

Myself. I miss too many shots and the troll blue berries use up my 5 nano hives so I actually have to contribute to the battle. I just would like to be a waste of space for once instead of doing cqc 24/7, you know?

Newberry snipers and Redliners. Which are mostly the same. They give good snipers a bad name.
When i still played before my PS3 crashed, i dedicated a good bit of my pubs to smashing them. All the while getting my points secure and helping my team, you know, what snipers are suppose to do.

That ***** just won't learn that hit-detection is terrible and highly tanked medium suits need 2 headshots to kill from a charges.
Like, seriously, get it through your damn head that the sniper is under performing and just move on. So annoying.

just tried sniping... and yes, I was annoying... for my own team.
First game I got only 3 kills. 5 my second game, and only 2 for my last. I'm not sure I helped my team at all. I mean, I ran a positive kd/r so that means I took out more clones than I used up... I guess that's some kind of help. o_O
It was kind of fun though. I've never had my heart beat so fast over so little. |

Snipers in today's game are quite horrible and none, absolutely none at all, scare me.
There were only two "full-time" snipers in the history of Dust that could make you "rage quit" and every closed beta vet will agree with me.
