Every types of weapons in this game have damage profile balanced :
Shield (Prof V) / Armor (Prof V)
Plasma : +10% (25%) / -10% Laser : +20% (35%) / -20% Explosives : -20% / +20% (35%) Rails : -10% / +10% (25%)
And now for the biggest WTF ? of this game : Projectile : -5% / +10% (25%)
What the **** is this **** ???? Why the most OP wepaons of the game (Combat rifle and HMG) are OP ? Because of this damage profile. No weakness, and a quarter more damage on armor...WTF ? Projectile weapons needs to be in line with others, without being the same than an another race, i agree. So :
New should be : Projectile : -5% / +5% (20%)
It would be fair more balanced. Reducing Heavy slaying everything. And reducing the "Instakill" effects with these horrible Combat rifle.
That's a fair request don't you think ? |

No, -5/+5 is bad, it means you still have no penalty and a significant advantage with proficiency, -15/+15 is actually balanced as it means you do have a 'real' penalty versus something. |

That's OP even more than before. 30% bonus on armor ? Are you crazy ?
The purpose of Projectile weapons are "all around" ammo able to shoot down shield and armor. BUT the problem is than the damage profile is not balanced, and too high in armor killing. |
