So you need to invest lots of time to get good gear but the problem with grinding is that proto users will reduce the amount of WP you get thus taking loner time to grind. Why not make a shorter skill amount needed. |

You can get viable under 5 mil easy. Its the exploration of viability that takes the longest.

Take time to read and understand the skills. Read a lot. Find what will suits you and your gameplay. That's one of the things I like about this game; you gotta think hard about how to manage and invest your ressources.

Comrade...BE A LOGI.
Trust, find a good heavy and stick with the bastard. Easiest way to earn WP for me...
We're talking about WP in the thousands, easily 2000+ each game.
Wherever the Wind (Aero) might take me, may it ever be True, for the way of the Commando is noble and right.

I understand how the suits and what their roles are for but I want to know is there a kind of trick that helps you get more SP (no boosters). |

If you know what you're doing, that is, take the time to understand the system, you can be a wrecking ball in pubs within two weeks of normal, life-having play.
Some playstyles lend themselves better to this than others, though, it's true. If you're a newbie and want to be a scout you're in for a struggle. |

Viable isn't as bad as it used to be but he's still pretty much what they call really as fodder; anyone walking around the 5-10m SP can do decently well enough but all the vets have commented on this enough times already. You're also hoping for decently working matchmaking and running with squads or a good corp happens to be on your side. But we should answer at least the perps question and be honest with it ourselves: getting to 5M is still a challenge for someone starting out and it will be a bigger grind overall since SP and WP are heavily dictated overall by current level.
You're grind might also be utterly pointless if a hotfix adjusts the performance of any equipment/build you've invested in. It's not just a grind, it's also a huge test of patience with the game and whether you feel you can actually enjoy it and feel you can get anywhere. |

Dying's part of the game. So what? Yeah, grinding is a solution in the sense that it lets you eventually receive gear parity, but if you want you can not worry about that, practice fighting protosqauds with militia **** and you may very well get good at it, that's called practice, not grinding. |

I had effectively maxed out my character at 32ish million.
I have 48 mil SP now and spend the remainder on the most stupid and pointless things.
