Voting begins tomorrow my friends, and there may be perhaps a few of you wondering how I will be voting. Having spent a lot of time over the last few months learning about the election, candidates, and the position of CPM itself I wanted to give you my endorsements for the CPM1 election.
1.) Zatara Rought - I have many reasons why I am running and what uniquely I offer to the counsel. The largest amount of experience playing the game, unique viewpoints from the opinions of PC, and an unprecedented amount of links to the community due to my endeavors as CEO of Fatal Absolution. In addition to my unique capacities, I also offer the intangibles I feel many of my candidates do or should share, such as humility, determination, enthusiasm, community sentiments, and most of all a strong ability to play devil's advocate with feedback and ideas.
2.) Cros Atu - Cross is simply put the most worthy candidate of any running period. As I have reiterated elsewhere Cross is the only candidate that I would potentially have put above myself. I have experienced the kind and yet concerted effort Cross employs in approaching feedback and have been remarkably impressed and felt inspired to emulate. Polished posting, amenable to change, antithesis of arrogance, and a track record that is unimpeachable all stand tall among the candidates as why you should consider Cross your candidate for CPM1.
3.) Keval Longstride - I met Dennie at FanFest. He was a remarkable individual and encompassing presence. Dennie is the incarnation of optimism and I noticed more than once his aptitude for inclusion. I can see why he would be the perfect CEO for the most well known newbro corporation. Dennie brings unique experience as the only candidate on my list that is already operating under an NDA with CCP. Dennie's positive relationship will no doubt be a building block as we strive to instill in CCP and the community that the CPM1 is a worth endeavor.
4.) Pokey Dravon - I was first introduced to Pokey because of my immediate need for eve support from his alliance Covert Intervention. Despite our young community including myself butting heads with a few in OSG, Pokey was a constant cool. Never upset nevertheless concerned he wasted no time and pulled no punches in exhibiting a resolve to solve the issues we presented. This impression was further cemented as I learned to learned more about what Pokey wished to bring to the table as a CPM1 candidate. Pokey disagrees affably, never becomes aggressive, is completely sincere, and shares my passion for being open to new data and evolving opinions.
5.) Soraya Xel - Soraya is only this low on my list because I frankly think people know how strong of a candidate he is. If you have not already chosen to vote for Soraya I feel you may just need to reevaluate. From his work on PFC, to his position in Top Men., to his CPM1 Candidate chat, Soraya has proven to me over and over repeatedly he contains the drive, maturity, and experience to contribute vitally as a CPM1 member. I was remarkably impressed in chat with Soraya's spine and patience. Our chat provided a litmus test of sorts when we would discuss issues where we disagreed. As has been stated elsewhere he found himself in a corner with -no one- on his side, and a few of us grilled him pretty hard. When Soraya feels he is on the right side of an issue, you can trust he will be unyielding. he is most worthy of your vote.
6.) The Black Jackal - I was a skeptic of Jackal's candidacy at first I admit. I had heard many things numerous times about his naked ambition to be on the CPM even as far back as last July. When I visited his thread I felt I had met a dreamer who was not being realistic about what was plausible for implementation. I was wrong. Am I've come to know Jackal I have nothing but positive experiences learning about how platform, his willingness to engage in every issue, and his poise as a writer. Jackal wants to be on the CPM1 to contribute to the community, and I know he will prove valuable if elected.
7.) - Aeon Amadi - I used to despise Aeon and today I'd like to endorse him. Not because he was a bad guy, but because I knew him in A.N.O.N.Y.M.O.U.S. I think he didn't care much for me either. Despite this antipathy I harbored for months I began to grow to admire his strong posts and insightful feedback contributions. Aeon wants the best for dust, he lives and breathes it. His work pushing the ISD has inspired a movement. His feedback, much like Cross's, is legendary. Aeon's attention to detail has helped me to clarify my views a few times when mistaken, and I will appreciate his help in continuing to contribute as a member of the CPM assuming we both are privileged with serving the community.
I feel deeply distraught I cannot select more of my fellow candidates, and that I was not able to learn more about some of them prior to the elections. I feel strongly next time around we need to have more time to make sure everyone can be adequately involved.
Candidate for CPM1 Voting begins in 1 week!
