Problem with your assumptions is they are freaking terrible and sad.
The ONLY place in DUST you got good fights was PC.
16 mercenaries organized, focused on a singular goal and executing strategies to impose their will on the match.
Pubs are a freaking clown cars full of any moron you can fit in.
PC is supposed to be the End game for DUST... The whole reason to play DUST past a couple Pub matches.
Instead we get a bunch of you people who don't understand that the average PC player even in the HEIGHT of farming PC was BROKE.
Yes the Average PC player is BROKE. WAS BROKE, And has ALWAYS been BROKE. even in the height of District locking.
This is fact..... Get your head around it.
The ONLY people who got rich are people who where ALREADY running full time proto-type at a Profit. The PC ISK just added to the Hundreds of millions they had sitting there for 3-4 months.
The ISK Generated in PC at MAX POTENTIAL.. Meaning no attacks in all of Molden Heath. No Clone losses what so ever... Doesnt Even add up to the ISK generated everyday by players Creating a new character and transferring the 250k off to their main, deleting character and doing it again for 4 accounts per day.
Those are the PUB stars in Pub's running proto all day and not caring about the losses.
Ask Duna how many PC's he needed to do to afford endless tanks?
The mere connection between PC and being well off in DUST is a SAD JOKE, and completely comes from Fear, hate and ignorance. |

Wow ignorant much?
Nyain San was running full time proto Long before PC came out. And their main members will continue to do it without issue.
Nyain San never became a Major PC player until Impz imploded and their alliance ended.
CCP stop putting exploits? Your serious? You play more then one game? CCP has a history of WORKING with exploiters to try and close those loop holes... Check EVE's history, entire alliances and power blocks have been built out of that arrangement.. Even funnier.. Is... can you name a game on console without massive exploits? You would have to be a complete tool for that to be a main point.
Stagnate pub's are what kills shooters. Again you would have to be completely oblivious and ignorant to think this. Counter-strike shows such success these days because of Competition leagues. The fact that average CS players can join up to a league on their skill level that they can progress and learn, keeps that game active... Keeps the hardcore hardcore... and the up and coming players something to learn and shoot for.
It's even this way with CoD... It's all about the leagues.. League of Legends... you name it...You look at any game out there and if you don't have a well constructed End game, your game Stagnates and dies.
Pub-stars can never ever be satisfied. they come and go.
And again, you would have to be oblivious and down right moronic to think they made billions. Specially when they have spent billions on PC. |

I KNow some "Impz at heart" that still talk about the end with a nostalgic tear in the eye.
Yah been playing Titanfall on PC since it came out... Another example of Pubs stagnating.. If you aren't getting into competitive play the game gets boring so quick.
Been playing on PS2 alot lately.. The new map Hossin in a giant kinda tropical forest is awesome.. just got my BR to 100... But the game gets boring after 3-4 hours.. And you feel tired as hell after. |

There is no passive ISK generated from districts.
The only ISK gain is from the winning side, Each mercenary gets a payout depending I believe on clones killed and left.
Average you get 3-5 mil payout at the end. Most Logi's and support roles will loose nearly that in a match.
For him to make a full 10 mil he would of had to have minimal to no losses.
Biggest problem is the Tankers... its hard to convince a tanker or vehicle user to PC anymore.. There is no way to cover their losses without everyone pooling their money.. Which, well... yea.....
This creates massive problems for vehicle performance in their role in PC.
It's made PC... Just an ISK sink and means to get 16 mercenaries together... Which these days is more fun to just go que sync a FW fight. |

Well damn, I won't be on for like a week or so then I'll be a scrub all over again. But I haven't played PS2 in a long time so I'm hoping it's better this time
My suggestion is just drop 20 bucks on it and treat it as a cheap game. Will save you alot of frustration in character progression. PS2 suffers from the same new player curses DUST does. |

I don't expect someone from a corp that held over 10 districts to understand.....sucks you can make Isk while locking districts now doesn't it? What happened to AE? Broke from stress of the PC changes? Good lord.... Retirement from a dead game is what I recall. That does make more sense O.O
A.E. is retired from DUST. The few members left playing DUST moved to "The Last of DUST" I'm sure you can figure out the reason for the naming.
And I wouldn't expect people to understand Ancient Exiles started off as Anti Authority in PC. When A.E. started PC we where Number one enemy of the Eon Alliance...
We then did the whole Fuk Eon Coalition thing? Which we would fight for up an coming corporations who put out the clone pack cost. Gave endless districts away..
When we started we couldn't do anything in PC without having the most successful entities jumpin on us instantly.. Coming at us with the best teams they could construct out of 8 corporations..
We didn't win a PC for a while at the start... We went back and had a corporation meeting after each PC, figured out what we did wrong and where we could improve. Right until the last PC A.E. did.
We attempted to get better at the game as a group and it paid off. Almost every member went broke pitching in ISK to get our PC aspirations going.
We risked everything to get where we where. And we worked damn hard to get there.
Meanwhile i had 380 million ISK after Chromosome to Uprising change, As CCP reimbursed all the ISK for salvage items except Officer weapons... Alot of us had hundreds of vehicles in salvage so made out quite well.
I Saved my first 30 mil in Chromosome and got skills decent and then went full time proto-type and have been running Full time proto gear since chromosome at a profit. Add in a year of PC, and pubbing at a profit and i am sitting at just under 2 billion.
5 of my immediate acquaintances Got the same hundreds of millions of ISK from salvage i did... Have PC'd more then I Have.. Play more then I Do. But have less then 5 million ISK right now.
If you think PC has anything to do with someone being wealthy in DUST? your clueless about the basic workings of this game. |

As for a good fight blah blah, doesnt matter, pc represented an elite few, any league type play in a shooter always has. The MAJORITY of this community is in public matches always has been always will be. So therefore again I say no one cares that pc is dead, you are in a corp that helped kill the game and when Kujo didn't get what he thought the doughnut would provide after fan fest he ran away.
Frankly im glad many of you left. Its opened the game up for new players and other corps. Even if the isk generated wasnt substantial it was enough to support protostompimg andmI don't want to hear any lies about protostomping being profitable. If you lose 2 protosuits in pubs you have lost money, mand if you die even once then at best you break even, in a, really high wp game where I make 300,000 isk or more maybe I can die twice. These people, you people stomped the life out of the game and ANYONE who was not an elitist will tell you that simple truth. Protostomping corps in pubs was the single biggest downfall in dust 514 period.
These could never have enough respect to leave one game mode unstomped. No, wed rather ride into a pub 6 or 12 deep, sling on them, FOTM redline noobs in 2 minutes and then run around the redline chasing kills. Omg do you even know how boring that was? It was inconceivable that rather than making blues feel bad for being noobs we wouod help them, guide them, squad with them.
No all you and your ilk did was to discourage, dissuade, and disrespect new dots. Well you, the Japs, the Kains, Kujos, Cubs, and whoever else got what you wanted. PC is all yours go fight each other. Heres a thought, go fight Nyain San. Go fight the corps you blued up with that were your competition that you decided to doughnut up with so you didn't have to fight......
Again just utter bullshit spewed out of your mouth.
Nyain San have districts. How much ISK do you think they spent to get it? nothing? Your 80x15 ... they where making is based off max earning potential.. They didnt even earn near that... NO ONE DID. Other then when locking districts... Then we start looking how many ways the pie gets split between the active numbers it takes for them to hold that.
And it wasn't Nyain San who started hiding behind locked district timers.
The fact that Your on these forums like another ignorant person, complaining about proto stomping..and district locking and all the elitist players ruining your fun on DUST just makes me and everyone that knows any better roll their eyes at you.
Proto stomping was just as much a thing in the entire life cycle for DUST. In all Beta's.. Alphas.. Welcome to DUST. The major difference? We never called it proto stomping.. What Proto meant in DUST back then was merely more of a challenge.
Now players will blame nearly everything but themselves loosing.
We welcomed over 30 people into A.E. that started off DUST in recent updates... And became some of the most feared names in Pubs. We helped out over 10 corporations learn PC, become effective in it.. Borrowed out our FC's to teach and lead up and coming corporations in PC.
I have endless posts myself about the NPE, endless suggestions since Beta to fix it.. Every player did.
If you are trying to blame a terrible matchmaking system on players? AND THEN pick specific ones out that you thought violated your "Made Up code of Honor" The most? Your just straight up delusional and see the world through this narrow scope of everyone that you perceive does you wrong.
Dust has had and been plagued By terrible core mechanic issues from the very start. And for you the entire reason this game failed is cuz the proto type suit exists.. Meanwhile there are hundreds of games that have done the same thing.
DUST has issues because :
Aiming System, Hit detection system, Net Code, Matchmaking, Terrible Map balance, and even practical function. Barely to no New player tutorials or quests to learn the game, Terrible Marketing and PR, Terrible Bug testing before patch implementation, A lack of an Executive Producer for 5 months. *Pretty big one there* A massively underdelivered game that was never even close to the tech demo's and claims that where made at E3 and game conferences.
NOT because proto type gear exists.. just funny. |

i think you are being willfully ignorant. NS did district lockings, they joined all the monopoly alliances, (jumping ship at the right time), put all their timers on Tokyo time, and then spent regular prime time in pub matches doing endless stomps. Stop acting like they are just a bunch of regular folks who had a few good games of caught some lucky breaks. They systematically used and abused the system till CCP had their hand forced into changing it. They took a positive community reward, and turned it into something that negatively impacted many players and the game itself. They had a choice. They could have out their timers in regular time. Since they are all online at that time anyway. But they preferred to do stomps and make the timers inaccessible. They locked, before locking was fixed. they did everything in their power to keep their ISK subsidy just so they could finance the stomping of new players. Theres alot of players and corps who could legitimately say that the changes to PC have negatively impacted them. NS and their NC puppets are not one of them. It was their actions more than any other corp that provoked these changes. If theres anyone who should just shut up and deal with the consequences, its them.
Everything you said in this post is half true and based on either forum rumors or bullshit gossip you hear in game from players who know half truths they are repeating off forums.. and make up the rest.
It's just fear and ignorance spewing this kinda garbage. |

Yeah we have about 2 full squads during NA time but why would we set timers for 12 -20 players? NS prime time isn't NA prime time. We have enough players for at least 1 squad at all times (usually, not always). Also we try to q-sync against each other when we have 2 full squads on. Unfortunately the matchmaking doesn't always put us on opposite sides..
What can you do when LAVALLOIS Nash makes up facts then calls them true because he saw it one time in DUST.
Just like the matchmaking system is completely the players fault who then have to use his "Made up sense of video game Honor" to not actively kill the game.

Well a confirmed sighting usually means something crosses over from "suspected" to "confirmed". If I saw something, even once, I can confirm i saw it. If I never, ever saw it, then it is suspected. or "rumored", if you will. So its not made up in that sense. Besides, weve already confirmed that although im not 100% right, im atleast 50%. Bethhy wrote:Just like the matchmaking system is completely the players fault who then have to use his "Made up sense of video game Honor" to not actively kill the game. Its not about a "made up sense of honor". its about not hurting retention in a nascent FPS. Since you know everything, you would have known that FPS games, especially console ones, is a overly saturated market, and that a game has to be extraordinary to capture and retain a respectable market share. Since an online FPS game is made up of....community.....its a collective responsibility to help player retention along. Instead vets like you spend all day giving people more reasons to leave rather than stay. Heres some simple economics: Dwindling player base = dwindling player generated revenue = Game terminated much earlier than projected. Bethhy wrote:He can continue to blame the players for the state of DUST... But he and everyone that does just looks like an absolute moron trying to do so. The game IS players. Its an online FPS. Without players, its just a bunch of artwork and customization options. CCP can only do so much. You are quick to blame, and even insult others for what you perceive is failure to do something on their part, but really, you have never stepped up and taken responsibility to make it better. You just participate in self destructive behavior and then lament that CCP is not cleaning up your mess properly.
At least your consistently "special"
Oh btw I saw a Bat flying around in the day. Must mean they really are active in the day time and everyone is lying to us.
I'll try and help you understand this concept as you still haven't grasped it. Tiered gear has been practiced in games since the beginning of the idea of character progression. The mere assumption and COMPLETE utter confidence that you have... to say proto-type gear killed this game is about as stupid as these forums get.
And just is funny.. It's like an argument coming from a 13 yr old about how the world isn't fair. It literally has that much merit. |

Lol just wow.
If a game doesn't construct a proper End game with motivational reasons it will not keep activity in the game. That is just fact.
District locking was started by none of the people you think started it. The corporations you look at for district locking didn't need to.. Other people started and you would of been a fool or trying to make up "Internet Honor" to not do something CCP said as fine and their error.
District locking actually HELPED the up and coming corporations to plan to have a full active teams on. The feature was there to combat peoples claims that they have more important things to do then be on a video game the exact same time everyday.
Instead of tweaking the mechanic so it helped out smaller corporations in PC rather then let large quantities to be locked under one entitiy it would of bee beneficial to all of DUST.
Instead we got a knee jerk reaction from people who have never been part of it to instantly remove it because these guys are farming ISK then killing you in public matches and that is no fair. sadface. Fck the big picture it's all about Pub's right? lol
The Blue Doughnut is hilarious... Since Molden Heath has been introduced into this game that place was at constant war. We, A.E. had an epic war against Outer.Heaven where we both had to end because we where broke as **** with 20 mil in the corp account.. Going through billions in corporation money and members personal money.
War's in PC is really based on attrition. more then player skill, And A.E. has gone broke 4 times during wars. CCP slowly started killing off the end game and growth of DUST for veteran players.. they started leaving and finding new homes like would happen inevitably if there was little to no focus placed on the End game for over a year. And now the few left from those groups of players from back then have all consolidated under the few active corporations left.
The biggest problem with a new corporation getting into PC, is there is no where in DUST that teaches you how to play as 16 mercenaries trying to win the match. Pub's are a joke... FW are a joke... and when you jump into PC your facing people who have played that game mode for over a year.. and rarely play Pubs(If they played pubs for a year they would of quit)
That is the problem with PC... We need a Team deploy mode that you can deploy 16 mercenaries for a fun educational match against another 16. Without having to pay for a clone pack to learn. |

You like live in some kind of alternative reality in your head or something. You keep going on and on about "internet honor". Take a second to smack your head on your desk viciously a few times till you get that idea out of your head. Good. Now listen carefully. Its not about "honor", its about growth. If you uproot a plant before it bears fruit, you wont get your yeild. It has nothing to do with "honor". Here, follow along..... Bigger player base = expanded revenue = more CCP resources for development = end game gets developed. Now, follow along the way that you "vets" have done things so far: Hurt player base size = less revenue = less CCP resources for development = end game cancelled. Again, its not about "honor". You guys essentially cut a tree down before it could bear fruit. You can call that whatever you want, its just simple fact that you stunted growth at a critical time, so now it will never grow again.
Dude... Your sad. and delusional.
Yet again you can blame the players all you want. What do you think EVE is? Where do you think CCP came from?
This is the nature of a game where you promote meta gaming. NONE of this is the players fault. ABSOLUTELY NONE.
No player in any game is supposed to self nerf themselves while they play... the mere notion is sad.
Complaining about squads when CCP let squads of 6 and the matchmaking system is SAD.
The fact that you don't realize CCP has had 60 employees with a multi-million budget for this game and you seem to blame the players for it?
Like dude... Your sad.
Our job as players is to play the game to the best of our ability. Not to be self impose YOUR made up rules about how to play DUST.
we had people more then effective in PC and some of our strongest players at 10mil skill points and some even less. Your idea of even what happens in this game is off.
You idea of a casual player is one that simply logs on to be bad at the game. It's hilarious. Go do some research on what an average casual player in WoW looks like.. Because I'm pretty sure that is your definition of a hardcore player.
there is no arguement about End game relevancy in games. Every game without one dies. It's happening to DUST right now.. ANd if you think DUST will survive based on Public matches? wow...
If you really think matches magically got better? Even though a majority of matches you won't even see 20 active mercenaries engaged in fighting while 12 sit afk in the redline? Your again dellusional and can't open your Score sheet while playing.
This is every match.. You rarely get 32 active mercenaries anymore... where before? This game has been in rebuild mode since September 1.4 where we literally lost a massive proportion of our veteran population.
DUST has a turn over rate of population at liek 80%.. meaning 80% of the entire DUST population recycles each month. and 80% quit. It's the highest turn over rate in the industry. there are articles written on it.
And vet Corps? QCGold is older then a majority of Corporations you cal vet. LordChaos and a couple of my friends tried to make QCGold relevant in PC.. But because of massive leadership deficiencies hey had to go make their own corporation.
QCgold is understandably bitter about PC. But it's wasn't player skill that limited them.
And yes a huge problem with this game was no middle ground for up coming corporations to make a transition to PC... It was as harsh of a transition as starting the game out of battle academy. And paying a clone pack to learn hat lesson. So why? Corporations asked.. they said Fck it. I know I have several alt's in several corporations who all made the same choice about PC.
players built Fight club to even give up coming corporations a chance at PC and end game DUST. Obviously there was player corruption in this process. Yet CCP never stepped in.
This comes down to CCP. all the blame lies with them, and the fact that you are trying to blame players for playing the game... Not how you want them to play it.
Proves to everyone how bitter, shortsighted and misguided your blame really is.

CCP imposed a "skill" system whose very nature guarantees that new players will be at a sever disadvantage for quite a while, and their version of pay-to-win is really more like pay-to-lose-less-sooner.
CCP never improved the NPE.
CCP was aware of the PC ISK farming for many months and waited an arbitrary amount of time to address the issue. They certainly had metrics to determine the main alliances/corps/players represented in PC, along with the effect these players were having in pubs.
CCP insisted on a snail's pace development cycle, using the Dust community's contributions to create a new IP, instead of actively and consistently engaging their community day-to-day to improve Dust and see it through its "10 year plan", versus making big promises and talking themselves up at marketing events (eg, Fan Fest and E3).
CCP is as backwards in their approach to developing Dust as the PC stompers are to actually playing the game.
True, CCP were not able to anticipate and prevent many of the abuses perpetrated by members of this community. Remember, however that as far as FPS and console is concerned CCP is an infant gaming company, who asked this community for help in developing the game for us all to enjoy. CCP, to their own detriment, gave us the power to help guide DUST development. What did this community do with that opportunity? They took ever opportunity to cheat in order to pad their stats. Sure DUST didn't have the best matchmaking system, and often times Vet players and corps found themselves in matches against new or less experienced players. And Sure, communication was never that great in the beginning. However, we do not know what sort of internal struggles CCP had been experiencing during this time. We do know there was things happening internally, though, as evidenced by some major staff changes which occurred throughout this time period. It was, however the sole choice of the players to abuse this system for months on end while CCP Developers struggled to keep up with players. It was the players' choice to Proto Q-Sync stomp on a bunch of noobs. CCP never made anyone kill that MLT suit with that Proto Weapon. CCP Never forced anyone to q into Ambush, call in a blaster Madrugar and ROTFLSTOMP ever motherloving thing in site. CCP never forced anyone to abuse the WP system for personal gain. Did CCP Make the system? Sure CCP always told us "we create the tools, and let you players do with them what you will" Well, what we have now is a direct result of what the players did with the tools CCP gave them. How easy could it have been to just say to ourselves "This is going to ruin the game, we should see about getting it fixed, and be sure not to abuse the (insert broken mechanic/glitch) to the detriment of the game. I all but begged this community to exercise just a fraction of concious when it comes down to matters such as these. Do you know what I was told... Welcome to New Eden HTFU. Now everyone wanna cry cause the game is unpopulated and PC is devoid of life. Well, Welcome to New Eden, where your decisions have consequences. HTFU.
This game didn't fail because of players running proto-type gear in public matches.
It failed Because of CCP
Anyone here since beta knows this.
CCP Checked out of DUST almost immediately after the huge fail when they launched Uprising. Their executive producer quit and the entire direction of the IP was up in the air.
If you think CCP Shanghai has EVER placed full attention on DUST 514 in the last 8 months your really lost.
CCP promotes their New Eden Universe... And if you don't understand how meta gaming and New Eden works in EVE.. And are trying to talk about "Fair" and "Honor" or use their "Conscience" when they are playing a CCP game or a FPS game for that matter....
Pathetic. |

Pathetic.
So, when I got Melee killed in 1.7 While wearing my over 1300 HP Amarr Heavy Basic Frame Poto...that was legit. Or, wait, I guess I could have used the Melee glitch myself. Then again, I'm not a cheating scrub. Welcome to New Eden. There is a whole entire world of difference between meta gaming and cheating. Corporate Espionage = Meta Gaming CPM Elections = Meta Gaming Sabatoge = Meta Gaming You can try to colour it any way you want to, but the fact is, exploiting glitches and poorly designed game mechanics is not meta gaming, it is cheating plain and simple. See I can use bold and underline too.
I have said countless times. There are entities in EVE.. Goonswarm... Band of brothers(oldschool)... That exploited the loop holes in the game, And then CCP would approach them and make deals with them to help test and close loop holes. This arrangement actually built power blocks in the game, that is called meta gaming. CCP deems it completely their fault and doesn't punish players for it. there is a whole guideline around it in their EULA.
There was a glitch in EVE that let you bump the most expensive ship in the game out of safety.. Go look up what happened and that was with ships if you sold the ISK to RL cash is worth over 5 thousand dollars US.
There was a game design in DUST that has been here since Alpha all the way to 1.5 in DUST that allowed Melee to not be a Absolute Joke.
But you had to build your skills around it spending over 8 million in specialized skills to make an effective build. Would have to completely fit your suit so your are at a disadvantage in ANY long range engagement.
And then one person.. Cuz really only one person in ALL of Dust could do it effectively.. then would run at you while you where shooting at him and then punch you in the face multiple times. With full Damage and Stamina mods.
Meanwhile CoD, BF, CS, KZ, Halo, you can name off FPS games until your blue in the face.. and melee is a 1-3 hit your dead..
But DUST? someone melee you in a couple hits and had to get there to do it? NERF IT. ITS TOO OP OMG NERF.
Ahahahahahahahah.
Between CCP's mechanics, Aim assist on Melee and peoples terrible aim that they rely on Aim assist, he was extremely successful. But not because it was easy to do.
Ari just showed to people how bad at aiming they really where and it was like making fun of their Ego. They took it personally.
And now melee is back to being a joke all over *claps*
Seriously though u where the guy defending the forge gun blast radius for like 2 months making endless posts.... You really have such a narrow view on DUST. |

Blaming people for playing a system that literally makes this game what it is is absurd. Thats like saying its the planets fault for not absorbing an oil spill when it happens. Its just ironic that you blame CCP for giving you guys the benefit of the doubt instead of forseeing just how rotten some of the player base would be. Maybe for legion, they should just assume that the vet tryhard community will be scum, and just make tons and tons of rules so that we have no freedom and everything has to be done on a linear path with no choice. Nevermind meta game, everything will be tightly controlled and regulated so that you dont destroy their investment a 2nd time. Since instead of blaming the vandal, we are blaming the property for having the ability to get vandalized. You should do like the rest of your corp and pack it up and leave. Since you are so unhappy here, and obviously destined for internet greatness, why dont you take your toxic attitude and go pollute a different community with it. We will replace you with someone who is capable of making a positive contribution.
Like QCgold? You have done nothing for this community but whine about players playing the game. And using just as many exploits as any entity in this game.
Gotta love a player that is so hypocritical, riding in on a high horse then telling players to leave and quit the game. ahahah.
A.E. has a history of taking on Eon in the FEC war, ringing for endless newer corporations for free, teaching corporations the competitive side of DUST.
Giving districts over to new corporations for free.
I am part of several corporations, many are new up coming corporations, many which have gotten into PC. Learned team work in public matches and FW through terrible matchmaking issues.
I have countless posts and bug reports that have had direct attention from CCP.
I have been one of the biggest voices here about new player experience, and developing a robust competent Battle academy. with a good quest system allowing players to use MLT tanks, Dropships, Uplinks, Nanohives... the basics of DUST before thrown in a pub with everyone.
But the difference between you and me? You blame the modded controller user for using a modded controller. I Blame CCP.
I made a post and a ticket back last August about modded controllers, had 4 videos of proof and everything. I Even got put on the list of things to do for CCP. They never fixed it... they left it.
This is what your missing or for some reason and fanboying CCP Shanghai for.. They did this.. They created it and then left it... In almost every case.
And then you are here blaming players for playing the game CCP made. and the argument doesn't stand up in any video game.. let alone a CCP one. |

I was defending the FG blast radius because there was never a problem with the FG blast radius until tower camping with a FG became a thing. Then and only then was the FG a big huge deal that needed to be beat down with a nerf bat. Notice here that the way players were using the FG is what got the FG nerfed. Prime example of what I'm talking about. Bethhy wrote:statements defending the melee fiasco The melee *thing* was more than exceptional talent + a well fit suit. It was a damn glitch or an exploit, stop being dense. When I was melee'd 4 or 5 times within a quarter of a second, there is cheating going on. I know how fast the L3 button can be pressed. Granted I can't say for certain how it was done whether a glitch or modded controller or what, but it is cheating regardless. Just like the Turbo Controller Tac AR Or circumventing the AR's Kick mechanic by using a turbo controller. Or the new one I've seen recently with the Vehicle Small Rail Turrets. Some scrub found a way to make those fire rapidly negating nearly any charge time. I literally thought I was being shot with a rail rifle, but it was a small rail turret. SMH! Fact is, we have all done something that most likely contributed to the state DUST is in now. I can man up and accept responsibility for anything I may have done, can you?
The FG blast radius got buffed to that state... We here asking to remove that from 1.3... That is when it was being used in PC and it slowly trickled over to pub tactics. Like EVERYTHING in PC tactics do.
We tell you guys this about theroy crating and imbalances in PC and how it directly affects pubs... But pub-stars put their fingers in their ears and go "lalalalalalalalalalalalalaalalaal, I can't hear you~~~"
We warned CCP and the community and it happened.
And your trying to make it out like the blast radius EVEN mattered for a forge gunner that walks around and guns.. It had no affect on them, direct shots is how they killed always.
Yes Ari WAS exceptional talent at meleeing. Wanna know why? NO ONE DID IT.
It was an OP "Glitch"That no one did or could do effectively to give them any advantage. You would of saw people getting melee'd all over. Like Invisible Cloakers with their gun out. It didn't happen, just a few kids got really butt hurt when Ari showed them how bad at aiming they where.
There was 1 guy. that is it. and everyone was scared to **** of him... Was like watching a tennis match where the person just slams the tennis ball as hard as he can at his opponent and they just fumble the racket as a 100mph ball leaves a bruise and a point is scored.
The fact that you again blame the modded controller user and not CCP, just proves how silly your being. |

Like I said before, CCP is in it's infancy when it comes to FPS and console gaming. The DUST community, obviously was not, seeing as they were able to quickly find and exploit any flaw in CCPs game design. But you blame CCP and their ignorance of FPS and console gaming for this. lol You should be a politician. or a lawyer
Your apologizing for a company that had over 60 active employee' working on DUST for 5 years(70 now). with a Multi million dollar budget.
Some of the best most passionate talent in the game development field.
With a direct deal with Sony allowing for continuous client side updates for a reduced cost from even tripple A developers.
And putting all the blame on a player playing the game.
Seriously? you can't be that dense. |

You want to talk density? Since you know everything in the world, i would have though you would understand some basic economics. Obviously not. Lets run some numbers up, shall we? Alright, so 60 employees, a "multi million dollar budget", and 5 years? The average salary for designers, coders and artists on the low end is 60,000 a year. At the high end its about 90,000. So 60 employees x 60,000 = 3.6 million a year just in salaries. Times 5? Thats 18 million dollars. And thats lowballing it. Now, since money doesn't grow on trees, and cause unlike you, CCPs parents dont pay everything for them, they have to make that money back. Its called investing. Thats where someone spends some capital in hopes of making more than they spent back over a period of time. How do you want them to make 18 million dollars back on a game that averages 4,000 people online during its peak periods? Dont forget, that 18 million is just a low estimate on salary costs. Theres alot of overhead that is not being calculated. Things like electric bills, R&D costs, bandwidth costs, ect. These "multi millions" add up and disappear pretty fast. Now, instead of developing and progressing the game, those people have had to constantly dedicate their efforts to cleaning up messes left by the folks like you with a massive entitlement complex. You break something, they have to stop what they are doing and fix it. You cant just have 1 person go and fix something, it is a collaborative team effort. According to you, you should have the right to chase away their revenue stream, have efforts dedicated to babysitting you, and develop an "end game" so that you can feel like you've accomplished something. WOW. "im a player I have the right to break everything. its their fault for making something breakable in the first place". It goes without saying that you have never worked a day in your life and have no concept of the value of money. Do you get it now? You choked off their source of revenue. Demanded extra resources, and then complained that they couldn't find even more resources to cater to your dreams. Their resources and funding are finite. Thats why they are coming out with Legion. Dust will never make back its investment cause you and your friends made sure there wouldn't be enough players to fund the project.
Dude... again dense.
CCP is an Icelandic company.. They have to post their earnings publicly.. Go check. DUST has been in the green for a long time.. Even with developing Legion for the last 8 months+
They have been in the green for a long time.. Not to mention you have no idea what your talking about for DUST's population, everything you said about it is repeating the exact same people that have been proven wrong on countless occasions on these very forums which you then repeat.
CCP had an entire studio shut down in Atlanta that was developing an IP they actually bought.. WoD... for what 8 years? There is your project that was running without any funding..
Wanna know the reason CCP had to launch the game out of beta so quick? Class action lawsuit. DUST 514 was in Beta in full Micro-transaction mode. The problem with this? It's actually illegal in several countries.
So CCP had to launch Uprising, AND THEN, reimburse everyone for the Aurum purchases they made for every booster and item. Only a couple Static BPO Aurum items where legal to transfer sale from beta to a finished product.
Again your trying to excuse their mistakes like it was all the players fault for playing the game. and actually paying for it.
Chromosome had 15k player peaks. Uprising launched we didn't even break 10k players.
This wasn't the players that where running proto-type. This wasn't Pink Fluffy Bounty Hunterz and Imperfects, ImpSwarm etc.. stomping everyone with their proto suits that chased players away. That is what made me log in every day and attempt to cap... To compete and get on their level. That is what made me buy boosters and actually make me think about investing serious recreational time into the product.
