I like seeing Nico winning. I would like to see Kamui Kobayashi pull in some points but he just can't seem to get on the podium. I thought Perez was going to be up there this year in the Force India but Mercedes is really strong. Massa is good but can't seem to catch a break. I hate to say I want a team to lose but it is nice that Vettel isn't on top every race. Who do you think will pull tomorrows 1st, 2nd and 3rd?

Looks right but I might switch out Vettel for Hulkenburg. When Vettle is good he is on the podium but if the car fails then he doesn't do so hot.

Being a Brit I was delighted to see Hamilton on pole with 20 seconds left.
27 seconds later I sat there in stunned silence as Ham went to 6th and Robserg went to 1st. Can't blame his stunned silence interview either. I sat there for a good 5 mins slightly annoyed and slightly bewildered.

He does have bad luck. Kind of cracks me up that he gets shorted all the time but at the same time I feel sorry that he has my kind of luck.

I'm an American and a huge Hamilton fan and pretty much broke down crying.
At this point Hamilton just needs to quit lying and tell the truth that Rosberg has gotten in his head and has mentally wrecked him. Even the commentators don't believe him anymore, Rosberg has mentally beaten him down.

I agree, I think Rosberg has him spooked and doubting himself. Hamilton is at least as good as Rosberg and the cars are the same, Hamilton holds second with less fuel used. It is all in his head, he got discouraged and since Monaco he hasn't been the same.

Indeed. Rosberg doesnt have strong emotions like Hamilton. When he tried the mindgames on Nico they bounced off and did nothing, when Nico did them back - Lewis being far more emotional - was beaten into the floor.
Kinda like Senna & Prost but with less crashing into each other.

There was no silence here but "WTF!!!" was uttered many times and rather loud volumes! 
I agree wholeheartedly. Nico has wormed his way into Lewis' confidence and it is showing. It really was evident during the post-qualifying interview. He looked like a deer in headlights.
This situation feels like deja-vu from last year's Vettel/Webber "feud"... but zat vus more of der Red Bull schtuping herr Mark over for zeir viney "Golden Boy", ja? Orders, orders. Ve vere just following team orders, ja?

Hamilton is the faster driver but has really struggled with the pressure. It's not really bad luck, he made two mistakes: he locked up at the start of the final lap (which cost him pole) and then didn't finish the lap because it 'didn't feel right' (which cost him several more places). I'm British and a Hamilton fan but you have to credit Rosberg for his consistency. |
