The first few shots have a lot less dispersion than the fourth onward, in my limited experience.
All things considered, if I take care with my shots I can still make them out to 50-60m. I think that's what Morte's referring to. Holding down the trigger no longer works. Gone are the days of 200m Scattered Ion kills, never to return.
The most important thing though is that I no longer feel like a scrub gibbing MLT noobs with a blaster :) I actually have a fitting for them nowadays :P

Minimising the dispersion is arguably more skill-based, although it takes exactly the same form as minimising the dispersion on an AR, so it's not really challenging per se.

I usually just use it like a Tac AR.

Fuck it; I'm going to deal with this like a sensible human being.
I'm goin to ram every single blue LAV I see; that way I know when an LAV goes past no matter its colour it needs to die. That way there'll be no more confusion and lost ISK from mixing up red and blue LAVs.
