Outside of Combat lets get options for plenty of vanity items etc.
But I'm a clone, like I care.
Having the option is better than not, variety is the spice of life.
The whole thing is subjective no matter what logic you want to chuck at it. As I'll be winmatar, I'll want to go into combat with my tribal tattoos showing.

Some planets would require you to wear your helmet though obviously.

However, since EVE, Legion and Valkyre are planned to share the same launcher and characters anyway. Why not use the existing carbon based code to make a standalone version which is then used to create avatars for all three games.
That way everyone who wishes to can at least create a unique portrait and there's less of a disconnect between the games.
As we will be interacting with each other, I think its important that we can kind of show off our art.
I'm one of those people who has spent a good long while getting my avatar to look like me but cyber punk style. It kind of feels wasted in eve because we don't actually see each others avatar in action, not yet anyway.
All the details on some peoples avatars are stunning and it would do the time and money spent a bit of justice for us as the head is the main bit.
Maybe there will be 'casual' areas or something where we'd see each others avatar's in between fighting etc.

Yeah fair call I guess.....we are immortal....though even we can't operate on non temperate planets without some kind of protection right? Okay now that's over I will take great pleasure bursting your bubbles you users of that phrase. You know Winmatar...... there used to be an Alliance in the Minmatar FW Militia called that........ in fact our friendly New Age Outlaws used to be in it. WINMATAR however is now a part of the Amarr Militia and actively fights the Minmatar. We Reclaimed that word.
Damn.

Sounds like you are going to have to pay for your clones, so you probably should care...
Boohoo.

On my Capsuleers portrait you's notice that despite his head implants he also have laser burns all over the left side of his face..... Satja, a portrait I made for Dust, has her facial scarring (but not the shoulder scarring), and Kador has his darker more bronzed skin, and green eyes. Amazing character creation options for players.....
Mine is called Dr Techenstein techsalt.
I was thinking of buying the monocle lol, if you go on eve online eve gate and copy and paste that name, then zoom in and you will see the level of detail and I sculpted it as well. There is nothing random on it.

EVE doesn't let you alter physical build, really develop skin tone, or have the hair I wanted for True or Satja. http://evewho.com/pilot/Satja+Askarii - Satja Askarin http://evewho.com/pilot/Kador+Ouryon - Eaderan Ouryon ( Kador's father and a right royal ****) ((Ignore the name))
The eaderan one looks really good.

Kador Ouryon as best I could make him. Though it really doesn't look as much like Kador as I imagine.
Haha, that is quality.
