Lag, terribad lag, japanese on the EU server, cal scout bugged hitbox, nothing new.

If I had been gone for awhile and I wanted to know what was new with Dust I would get on the game and play or go read all the Patches, hotfixes, updates, whatever was released.

The last thing I would do is come on to these forums and ask this good group of great and amazing people to waste their time telling me something I can find out for myself. IF I did, I would expect to be trolled and belittled.

Dont feel to ashamed of yourself for being lazy.

I know who you are, I'm also coming back after a few months away, ps3 should be here in a couple of days, these forums are toxic now mate full of people spitting poison, don't expect any positivity about dust, just play the game and enjoy it and don't get sucked into the negativity that breeds on these forums.

Quick rundown:

lolcal/gal-scouts rule everything.

What areas lolcal/gal-scouts don't manage to rofl stomp with shotties, RE's and brick tanking, HMG's dominate.

Swarms actually work v dropships and most tanks.

Large blaster turrets have actual dispersion now and have been officially designated by CCP as "AV turrets".

Small blaster turrets were also given dispersion and a RoF increase to make them better for AI, but it failed miserably.

AV grenades are worth using again.

There's been no info yet on anything related to Hotfix Charlie.

PLC's are semi decent AV support now and have a faster reload + more direct damage.

There's an event going on to name an officer weapon of your choice (also, new officer weapons on the way). Check Announcements section for details.

To be honest, the new WIN button is the Plasma cannon.

dust has reached a benchmark in online gaming, all conceptual visions are on the horizon, morale is the highest it's ever been. the community is renowned for it's sense of sportsmanship and spirit of competition.

The problem was that CCP heard there was a issue with tanked cloaked scouts with shotguns that were able to take people out before they fully uncloaked.

While they did reduce the cloaked while shooting issue (though it is still possible to a degree), they decided that the best way to do that was to reduce cloak duration and dampening instead of something that affects the plates themselves (they did a small increase to fitting requirements, but nothing major).

So now you see a bunch of scouts who tank because damps don't do squat, and running cal or gal because minjas and amarr are good for nothing.

Maybe take another break. A number of scouts made some good suggestions that Rattati took note of, so some or all of it may be implemented in the next couple hotfixes. It helps min scouts a lot, and nerfs gals and cals who only use one or two damps/precision mods while keeping them the same if the stack 3 and 4.

So it will get better for us minjas, even if it is awful at the moment.
