I don't know if this is the right place but I'll ask since I've heard that our sp will transfer to legion but my question is will our AUR transfer as well? Oh while I'm at it, you should make a BPO for the dust vets in legion

It's likely considering you did pay for the AUR. However, the question remains about what happens to the assets that were purchased with AUR.

It's very likely that AUR gear won't exist in Legion, in which case a refund would be in order if CCP wants us to keep our asset bound Dust AUR for Legion.
Though there is the problem with Dust not going to shut down immedately with the Legion release and it not being the official sequel/replacement. The advocatus diaboli might argue that AUR, along with all direct purchases, were advertised and sold for Dust and maintain their function in dust so that there's no legal obligation for any refunds.
Not that this would be a smart thing to do from a customer relations perspective, mind you.

The combined history of AFK farming, clone creation farming and all the iterations of PC farming have distorted the ISK distribution and faucet/sink balance to the point where it's transfer to Legion would only endanger its economy.
But what about all the things that Eve Online offers for AUR? If the Eve and Legion markets eventually merge at the fullest extent, then that will open up many possible AUR sales in Legion like how you see it in Eve Online.
For those who don't play Eve Online and don't know anything about the Noble Exchan... I mean New Eden Store, many things are sold for AUR there. Here is a quick list.
1. Vanity Tattoos for the arms 2. Vanity Cybernetic Arms 3. Vanity Eye Implants 4. Vanity Clothing (male and female) 5. Blueprint Copies (that means limited run) for applying unique paint jobs to your ship.*
The first four options will obviously require a character creation overhaul for Legion in which Legionaries would be allowed to dress up using Capsuleer clothing and other things. The fifth option on the other hand could apply to dropsuits.
* - The paint job can only last as long as the ship it's applied to doesn't get destroyed.

It's been around since summer of 2011 so it had plenty of time to mature and improve up to this point. So far, it's better than before.

I really hope that they're doing something analogous to the New Eden Store (formerly NEX store), as in, deep visual customization of guns and suits that goes way beyond a handful of pre-designed skins like we have now, so I agree fully with the caveat that I don't expect the addition of avatars. Dropsuits/guns are a lot more "personal" than megaton battleships and Legion being an FPS means that we are actually looking at our/others' fancy MTX during gameplay and not d-scan/overview.
There's also things like upping the fax fitting limit, custom corp/alliance logos, maybe even the option to force corporation based paint jobs in certain modes to facilitate corporate identity.
Additionally, CCP Z hinted in some interview (that I can't source right now but should be searchable via Julien Dulioust) that he wants most if not all of it to be tradeable on the market. So those who currently like to use AUR gear can buy faction mods for AUR instead and those who have a lot of time but now money are not locked out of any MTX.
EVE/Legion are really the perfect environment to capitalize on people's vanity in a fair way, inho, and it's good that CCP are finally trying to take foot in this area.

Shameless pug - As a CPM candidate its defiantly something ill push for!
But seriously I do want this, even myself I have a lot of AUR assets and left over AUR that I want moved across, and I know there are plenty of people with even more than me.
From what we know right now, I don't see why CCP wouldn't.

I think they said that anything that you paid for that you still have will transfer in some format (though it may take a different form in the new game).
I could be wrong about this.

A more direct quote was from CCP Rouge shortly after Fanfest 2014 when he said that they want to carry over your "investment" from Dust into Legion. The key ambiguous term there is "investment". What constitutes as an investment to CCP?

That'll be time and money. So all your SP, Aurum and Aurum items. Also the BPOs that was bought on the Sony store via direct cash and not through Aurum plus the templar items.
Noob isn't really a status, it's the online equivalent of a 5-year old calling you a poopy fart head.
