Many Olympic gymnasts were male cheerleaders. And its not like most schools have dedicated gymnastics programs ( specifically for men ), so cheerleading is the next best thing for male gymnasts who wish to use their skills in a shool-related function. Most of the male cheerleaders I knew in highschool possessed more strength than our wrestlers and [American] football players. Some of them even partook in parkour events. I bet the average "male cheerleader" is more athletically competent than the people on these forums. Anyway, me no likey this event.
In my world, being a male cheerleader is an insult. Proudly raised by an old school dad. Deal with it. |

Proudly raised by an old school dad. Deal with it. I did. I came to the conclusion you are an ignorant individual who is most probably less physically capable than the average male cheerleader. Same, as it would seem, goes for your "old school" father. And, lest anyone misconstrue my simple words: nothing I said is an insult in the real world. Now, have a nice day.
LOL so now you talk about my dad? You're really trying to get my attention aren't you sandy?
Male cheerleaders are an insult. Does that line make you want to reply again and try something else to "get under my skin"?

I made simple observations based upon what YOU said. You mentioned your father who raised you. I made an observation. Simple. If my observation was inaccurate, I apologize. Perhaps you should articulate your posts better, so such things don't happen.
So first it was about the male cheerleader insult. Then you try insulting me when I don't bend. Then you try insulting my father. Then you try insulting me by saying I should articulate my posts better. Then try warning me as if you're some big bad wolf
My observation? You're a weakling with a bird chest that feels the need to defend male cheerleaders because you always wished you could do cartwheels and backflips to make your mother proud. I think you're a weirdo loner who is clumsier than clark kent around the ladies. I think you never won a fight. So to compensate for that void, you come to video game forums where you look to replace your dull existence with that of New Eden, all in the effort of being something more than a geeky failure. I also think my dad would whoop your dad.
If my observation was inaccurate, I won't apologize. Perhaps you should learn how to stop jumping in front of bullets so you won't get shot. |

INFINITE DIVERSITY IDIC wrote:OP FOTM wrote:Mikey Ducati wrote:In my world, being a male cheerleader is an insult. Proudly raised by an old school dad. Deal with it. You really are a scumbag. We had a gay black guy in high school named Ryan. Some of us knew him since elementary school, and although we didn't hang out with him, we respected him as a person. He was a male cheerleader. In middle school I picked the flute as an instrument because my mom played it, then I realized it was a girl's instrument and I switched to saxophone. Him and I were the only male flute players. At least he got to hang out with women more than the straight guys. Why don't you start talking about racial profiling while you're at it? No offense to any male cheer leaders, but just think about the men who epitomize masculinity, then picture them cheerleading. Its not enough to convict you of sucking a d!ck, but the chances are you are more likely to give it a shot. There used to be certain things men did and didnt do. Now the lines are so blurred anything goes, my sister is a nurse at the ER, she says guys are always coming in with things stuck in their a$$.... LMAO There is no sense of masculinity anymore because men and their role as protector/hunter has been trivialized, minimized, and feminized. When I was growing up my dad taught me men only drink whiskey or beer, straight. Now dudes got fruit, balls, balloons, and umbrellas floating around in there, and that alone doesnt mean anything but its a huge combination of all these things that simply make men less. Some of us who were raised diffrent see these things and it makes a huge contrast in our mind of what being male means. What it means to be the gender we are is a fundamental idea we learn very young and it relates directly to how we see self, community, and society at large.
Your whole post is good, but I especially like the bold section. Funny how things has changed that now any sign of masculinity or reference to it is shunned by the community but if its opposite, that guy is a hero.

Masculinity. I guess you never heard of that word before or ever been masculine to say such. |

You know in America, slurping soup is bad and consider rude. In Japan, its a good sign. It expresses that you're enjoying your food.

You raise your offspring the best way you know how, and what morals and values and behaviorisms you instil in them is on you. No one cares about anyones opinion anymore, which is why you and I are on a forum venting our beliefs because it simply doesnt matter. Its just expression for the sake of expression.
Dont worry about what others are doing with their lives, live what you believe and if your example matters, it will stick. If not, it wont.
You should tell that to the guy who started this whole fiasco, not the guy clarifying simple viewpoints that should have already been known and understood within society. |

Pretty sure youre the one who started this "fiasco"
I didn't start it you dimwit.
Here you say we identify with all things differently and a bright light bulb sidesteps that and take offense to my post which would have been laughed at around my group of friends and other males.
But I'm the one who started the fiasco. You people shouldn't breed. You say one thing and don't mean it all. What is the point of your post if the person who actually started the fiasco (which isn't me) couldn't accept what you suggested in the first place? |
