Mikey Ducati wrote:I guess you guys were male cheerleaders in high school and college. I dont know about Militia gear but this event is bad juju, I say that as someone who plans to participate. Think about it. HAV and DS pilots are not included, those without proto gear are not included, those who specialize in anything other than killing have no chance, I.e. logis, true scout hackers, etc etc etc. Last and most importantly protostomping the life out of the game. Then there was the logic of only allowing it in pubs. It might have been a decent way to breathe some life back into FW. I realize this event is designed to do something, to truly gather some amount of information. Are you looking to see what affect massive pub stomping has on new players over a months time? I can give you the answer....

We had a gay black guy in high school named Ryan. Some of us knew him since elementary school, and although we didn't hang out with him, we respected him as a person. He was a male cheerleader. In middle school I picked the flute as an instrument because my mom played it, then I realized it was a girl's instrument and I switched to saxophone. Him and I were the only male flute players. At least he got to hang out with women more than the straight guys. Why don't you start talking about racial profiling while you're at it? No offense to any male cheer leaders, but just think about the men who epitomize masculinity, then picture them cheerleading. Its not enough to convict you of sucking a d!ck, but the chances are you are more likely to give it a shot.
There used to be certain things men did and didnt do. Now the lines are so blurred anything goes, my sister is a nurse at the ER, she says guys are always coming in with things stuck in their a$$.... LMAO
There is no sense of masculinity anymore because men and their role as protector/hunter has been trivialized, minimized, and feminized. When I was growing up my dad taught me men only drink whiskey or beer, straight. Now dudes got fruit, balls, balloons, and umbrellas floating around in there, and that alone doesnt mean anything but its a huge combination of all these things that simply make men less.
Some of us who were raised diffrent see these things and it makes a huge contrast in our mind of what being male means. What it means to be the gender we are is a fundamental idea we learn very young and it relates directly to how we see self, community, and society at large.

How is racial profiling at all related to bagging on male cheerleaders? Not that I have anything against it, we call it common sense, only bleeding hearts care.

I'm finding these guys to be hilarious tbh.
It's like they are 16 year old drones repeating their daddy and their own section on media tell them to think or +25 year old white men who still clings ignorantly to their outdated beliefs.
Thankfully these people aren't popping up on the human production line as much as they used to. +1 for Human Progression Folks.
But seriously, lol at westerners. All I know is the modern male is a lot softer, weaker, simpler than my dad. Hell most of em ***** about 40 hr work weeks, my dad did 14 hr days of real work 6 days a week, cut hay 3 times a summer, grew tobacco and worked in it for money at Christmas, worked on cars, fixed appliances when they broke down, ran people off the road that didnt pull over for funeral processions and never asked for handouts. As for your human progression now they stand in protest of other peoples money and demand that the people they cheer for when elected give them other peoples money.
+1 for Human Progressive Folks, -10 for independence, ingenuity, self sustainment, bravado, machoism, chivalry, toughness, mechanical inclination (these BOYS can't even change their own oil), standing for something not pc, knowledge about nature, hunting rifle proficiency 0, being able to still grow hair (im looking at you with the wax), and how many women probably feel less safe because you've never once defended yourself?
I mean they got that 0 tolerance policy your progressive mother supported at the PTA meetings, you know when she wasnt cooking anything grown in her garden, plowed by your daddy cause that piece of liberal excrement couldn't even figure out which way to face standing next to a blue ford and a high plow. Lord lets not forget that todays progressive men even get told what words suddenly made the not pc list, so you are not allowed to use them anymore.
But I mean they have nice manicured nails, peti too, you know for their flip flops, or crocs..... lmao Heres the deal, in the 40s there was Normandy today you got punks, some need culling real bad.

Some of us who were raised diffrent see these things and it makes a huge contrast in our mind of what being male means. What it means to be the gender we are is a fundamental idea we learn very young and it relates directly to how we see self, community, and society at large. I just think that it's so intensely trivial in the grand scheme of things. What other people do is their own business, and judging people for anything that doesn't bring harm to others only shows weakness in the one doing the judging. Want to be a "man"? Then be a "man". Take care of who you are, and don't worry about who anyone else is. If you're worried about preserving the image, then do it. We live in an age where machines will soon do everything you could ever do, better. So, just focus on being the person you want to be, and don't waste your energy doing something as pathetically trivial as judging another for their outlooks or approach on life. If it's not hurting others, it's no ones damn business but their own. Period. (not saying you're judging anyone either, just, in general) The answer is because we got to this point by being represented equally when it comes to the duality of humanity, the feminine and the masculine. These things are in our blood, our DNA, our instincts.
It is when attempting to artificially suppress this duality that we see critical structures in socierty begin to weaken and crumble, structures such as the family unit. Why is it important? Because the duality of male female creates dependency on one another, that dependency when coupled with adversity creates bonds, some call them family ties and in our culture those ties form the basis of relationships that sustain our character through good and bad, more importantly teach and represent good and bad.
Not in an arbitrary, objective way, in concrete terms of I have a son and the mother and father both must play a part in instructing the child simply by existing, being present, and representing what being male means through example. If not children become lost, and trying to be an adolescent today particularly male without that influence leads to confusion. This confusion will then manifest in the form of trying to find what male does mean and become extreme, mostly violent behavior.
There is not greater evidence for this than to illustrate the modern American prison system. Without question the single greatest unifying factor amongst men in prison today is not the color of their skin, or their finacial dispositions, but rather that they are the product of single parent households. Ah yes, there it is. You see on there own a child can discover anger, aggression, temper, but with the guidance of a truly masculine role model they can be taught what to do with those things.
You see as we lose what defines us as a gender we lose purpose, and in that purpose we could control ourselves. Some of you will get it, and some of you Im sorry.

DUST Fiend wrote:Pretty sure that finding meaning in life through masculinity or femininity is just a cop out for those who lack individuality or drive to make something of themselves. Just live the life that you want to live. If you think plowing a field makes you a better man, then by all means, have at it. No, see you missed it. Humans dont work that way, we learn. More importantly we learn at an age before we can be self aware that we are learning. Plowing a field does not make you more of a man, it is an example of what MEN do. I don't think you get it. Its also not a cop out. Put simply, you need to watch a man from thed time you are born up through the age of sexuality to figure out how to be one. But if what you watched your whole life was no man, or some weird modern feminine male, then you will not understand the proper way to respond to the 20 year old a$$ hole that keeps hitting your girlfriend in the ass with his shopping cart standing in line at the grocery store. But see because my father raised me, I know the proper tone to relay all the information I need to. I know the correct look, posture, and expression. Also if he doesnt like what I say or do I know how to handle that as well. I know these things because I watched another man my whole life. The guy without my dad, keeps standing in line looking at the floor, occasionally sharing uncomfortable looks with his gf.
