It will not be used.
The small rail can already 1-2 shot most infantry units, is fairly rapid fire, has a decent clip size, has much more range, is pin point accurate and can help against enemy vehicles.
It's already my main concern when I run AV vs tanks, because it obliterates my commando.
While I just laugh at small blasters, as I stand slightly outside of their range.
Heck even inside their range they're still laughable.
I recommend you look at that.

Don't listen to Cat Merc... he made me crash my dropship into a tower yesterday. Towers are OP and Cat Merc was using them, so he uses OP weapons.

It also has a 1m radii meaning that anyone smart of fast enough to evade your shots is guaranteed to get away. Not to mention that using one from an LAV requires you to expose yourself and wear a sign that reads "Plz Kill Me I'm very EZ!"
Though if your talking about a reduction to fitting requirements, then yes I would suggest.looking into it as well.

Anyway, rails are basically vehicle mounted sniper rifles, they can stand outside of most weapons danger zones and just destroy infantry.
As soon as a threat appears, relocate.
Blasters on the other hand require you to get into the heat of the battle, and even then they can't kill infantry as fast as rails.
I literally had someone stand point blank infront of my blaster and just take the bullets.
In a militia sniper suit.

why would anyone run a small turret they are such a pain to fitt and then they leave a sit in your tank for a afking scrubbery who shoots at the mcc the whole match |
