Actually, yes, I have been using the galassault + ion pistol and quite enjoying it. I'm not saying it's perfect or the best weapon ever, but it is underrated - perhaps it would see more use if the sharpshooter skill was removed and weapon accuracy increased by 25% inherently, you'd probably see a lot more people packing it around then.

It has terrible DPS, low damage per clip, poor accuracy, **** poor range and to top it all off it's extremely buggy.

I'm sorry but this pistol isn't worth using over literally anything else.
Except for arguably the flaylock.

The Gallente assault skill does not affect side arms, only light weapons, which means the AR (and variants), the PLC, and the shotgun. Fun > Realism

Read the skill : "Gallente Assault Bonus: 5% reduction to hybrid - blaster light/sidearm hip-fire dispersion and kick per level" Notice that sidearm word there?
