I can hit people well enough from 50m; just take it slowly, do it carefully.

Not sure where I mentioned serious buff to Small Turrets... the current Small Railgun can take out an ADS, or at least make it go away. I might consider fitting a 20GJ Particle Accelerator for some glorified LAV work, though.
That said though, I think blasters are fine.
I can pull a 20 kill match where once upon a time (like as in 1.6; I barely used blasters through 1.7) I'd have scored 30-40.
I don't see the problem here.

Yep, definitely those stationary strafing militia proto 1500 EHP AFG noobs.
Time your shots. Hold down the trigger and expect to miss. Short bursts, maybe even single shots. Or just QQ, I guess.
