I am personally going to be running the Basic Dren Cal Assault with dual sidearms for the next two weeks to bring awareness to the assault class.
I challenge all to leave your comfort and find an assault class and challenge yourself.

I would wait but have at least half or more in reserve SP so when the time comes and the assault is fixed you will have a head start. I am almost lvl 3 Cal Assault and its going to take near a million to max it.

Glad to see someone taking a stand for the assault suit in game. I would be glad to squad up with you and film to try to bring even more awareness to those suits. Shoot me a message in game with the times you are on and we can catch up if you like.
Maybe we can get a squad of assaults only together for some good times as well.
SDPUB can meet there. I am running dual sides which is SMG( due to the slow fire rate of the MAGSEC rounds sometimes fail to hit) and Bolt Pistol.

When you are killed at 25M yes that is to much range. The SG like the NK should be close range no further than 10M. Make it a skill kill not I decloak I shoot you do to a glitch in hit detection I miss and you gun me down from 20+M.

Yes I agree but running dual sidearms and no room for damage mods I am having a hard time downing all the heavies. My SMG runs out of ammo before I can finish them off. I have my SMG to Pro 3 it should not take a clip and a half to down a heavy with no shields at HMG and you have the jump on them.

Gotta be pretty bad to be killed by a weapon outside of it's MAXIMUM range. Shotty only hits to 20, and that's 1% efficiency. Past 10m it's only doing 30%. You have to be either reallyREALLY bad, or have been weakened to 25 or less HP before the shotty tried sniping you.
Or running a Cal Assault that has just at 500 Ehp and most in shields and since the SG is strong against shields that is the problem. Nothing about poor play it boils down to assaults not able to be assaults do to blaring issues.
