HAHAHAHA
Revising fits (a long process) for my gunnlogi, I have stumbled upon the greatest OP fit so far this build! Given I haven't had a chance to try it against many other tanks (Good tankers that is), but against AV it's like WTF.
I had been using my forge gun A LOT to take down tanks since bravo release, and most often it's no problem whatsoever. Though part of the problem with that is more often than not they are against armor tankers, of which I gain extra damage against, or what I call, poorly fit shield tanks. Rarely have I come against a tank I couldn't at the very least send flying back to the redline line solo.
That is until I made up my new OP AV fit on the gunnlogi. I was simply blown away at how incredibly ineffective most ALL forms of AV were against it. Not just one vs one against said weapons, but IN LARGE QUANTITIES. In one particular match, I had at least 4 swarms and 2 forge guns attempting to take me down. Man was that GLORIOUS! Can you imagine 12 full sets of swarms just non stop banging your shields, with forge shots thrown in, AND STILL MANAGING TO SURVIVE IT ALL.
I couldn't see anything through all the flashing that was happening as things hit me, but I was curious. Just HOW MUCH could this thing take. Whether or not they were proto, I know not. I pushed my luck more than once, but most times managed to make it back out alive and well. Each success (was using a blaster and running in and gunning them down then backing back out) only made me bolder. I WANTED them to kill this thing, I just had to know the limits of my tank.
And kill me they did, I had finally pushed my luck to it's limits, as a non stop barrage of swarm shots (4 people firing swarms seems like machine gun fire, cept with missiles instead of bullets) pounded my shield down to nothing, with several forge shots thrown in. I was just cresting the hill, my 1500 armor sitting at around 200, and a single missile managed to make contact for the win.
Then the match ends, whomp whomp whomp. Seriously, anyone calling the gunnlogi "underpowered" again is getting a punch straight to the **** from me. Anything less than a particle cannon stands NO CHANCE against it. Missiles are laughable, but I do imagine a blaster might do the trick against it.
So, you want to know my fit? I really don't want to give it out, as no doubt everyone D bag (like myself) will be out there running it, ruining the lives of every single AV infantryman that thought they had it good with Bravo. But, without further ado:
AV nightmare High slots Complex shield extender
Complex shield extender
Shield hardener (A third extender works well too)
Low slots PG upgrade
CPU upgrade
Turret Pro turret of your choice!
And from my experience thus far, it works REALLY great against rail gun tanks with a pro blaster fit on it. Psh, range. You will be laughing your ass off as you close the gap and the rail tanker figures out quite quickly he just got SCREWED!

Those have alway been very easy to avoid. I'll make sure to stand my tank in on next time to see though.

Okay, so yours has 8833 shield EHP (8k to blasters and rails) while hardened, while mine has 10k (9k to blasters and rails).
So in the long run yours is probably better (regenerates more tank in 8s whereas my tank doesn't come back for a while...)
Hardeners have a down time, and only provide the benefit when active for that 30 seconds (with max skills), so in the long run my tank is constantly active. My favorite way to go is x2 complex and a single hardener. It's incredible how it maximizes the single hardener by adding more HP.
I'll def have to fit up my double hardener, extender fit for some field testing though. Just such a pain working between that cooldown time.

Harpyja wrote:I used that fit when hardeners were nerfed. You're a bit late to the party But now I've moved on to using a fuel injector instead of a second extender. Frees up plenty of fitting. Also feels great to be able to zoom back and forth past a railgun tank, they can't hit you! And also catching up to Madrugars for a nasty missile surprise from behind. Plus it's great for those panic moments when you need to GTFO. Fares absolutely great against other tanks, not so great against AV. Infantry can track much better and can apply their damage much more reliably. No regen and 3975 shield with 40% resists can go away rather quickly. Also I'm almost never hardened with full shield because they always get the first shot which then alerts me of their presence.
While you might have used it when hardeners were nerfed, I could still 3 shot a tank running this way. With the changes to dam mods and the rail turret though, it's the BEST way to go. It's actually viable now.
And that fuel injector is NOICE isn't it. I was thinking a good way to use the nitro is to stack either extenders or hardeners with it. This way you can take AV on while you are fighting those pesky tanks. Double extenders though with a single hardeners is the absolute best though. AV (minus plasma cannons and flux) are more like a bee sting while other tanks hardly have a chance to break that tank.
Been running with a buddy of mine Kamakazi - Tanker in his maddie blaster, and we have simply been shredding every tank we see. I run missiles or rails while he runs a blaster (he's good with that thing), and NOTHING can stop us!

I've been running it with triple turrets; basically we burst down the enemy inside 24s and then leg it :) It does require a more aggressive style I don't really like instead of the more defensive play the passive mods permits, though having those squad mates who can hang out in the overmap does tend to pay off :)
I'm liking running with another tank. Coordination between the two will stomp any tank on the field! Not even interested in running guns anymore, but those small rails sure do hurt. Had an LAV poppin them off on me and was a little surprised it did the damage it did. Still takes a lot to break my tank though.

But after the hardener nerf to 40%, blasters disable my regen...
Never been a fan of the shield booster. Have come across people using them from time to time, and all it generally does (as the PG requirements are rather high) is prolong the inevitable!

NOOOOOO you tank is not ever active.... you have passive tanked.
Of sorts, be nice if I could passively resist damage like the old days. Miss those passive gunnlogi resists:( I'll certainly say these new changes really drove away the scrubs.

I can tell you never really shot the "new" blaster at competent infantry.
I'm sorry, but I never meant to say the blaster is awesome against infantry (though my tanker buddy is rather good at showing that thing off). I myself have much trouble just getting a kill with it, yet I'm not a fan of the blasters to begin with.
So I'm rather confused by your statement. Is this admittance that you yourself are too scrubby to use it? Oh, Outer Heaven, now it makes sense
