Wars have happened alliances have changed people have hopped corps and people have retired since you have been gone. But DDB has stuck together and has not changed much and that is to be respected.

I'm sorry, i just needed to step in here for some clarification.
before i begin i would like to say welcome back skittles, there was always DDB i liked and DDB i disliked(you know who you are) and you happened to be the one of the ones i liked.
That being said, what i just read kind of hurts me. You see, when you say things like : "Dynasties rise and fall, when you are on top, everyone guns for you. Renegade was no exception" It makes me think that you think that we at A.E have abandoned you. While it is true that the body which was A.E. has left the game, We at Go Flux Yourself. still keep the spirit alive.
When DDB was getting beat up by Leaves of absence and becoming more of an EvE corp we ALWAYS filled your timers when you needed and we weren't busy. When you guys came up to us and called ERA a "SuperTeam" and said you just can't beat them we volunteered to stick by you and fight every battle. Every negotiation that was made we made SURE our renegade brothers came with us. Through thick and thin we fought for you guys. all of you. Yet this misleading post makes me think that everything we've done for you has been forgotten.
It pains me to think you no longer think of us as your allies. Or that we have abandoned you. To this day i still rely heavily on my DDB brothers to support me as i will them shall the occasion ever arise.
That's all i had to say though. #Renegade4Lyfe
it pains you? dude, it's a game

Ok, I heard about what issues people were having about my post. This post was referring to the time since I stopped playing. I singled out CapAcq for a specific reason, more on that later. I was not attempting to state that AE abandoned us in ANY way. We know they were there, they proved it by their actions. In turn, we also proved our loyalty to AE. We love AE and will never forget what we accomplished together.
It sucks that AE has split up for the most part. It seems like there is a small contingent left in AE(thaat loves us) and the rest have ended up in Go Flux Yourself, Gods Among Men, The last of dust. It seems that GFY is the group that likes us, TLOD seems somewhat indifferent towards us (however there were apparently some issues with a refusal when asked for help, which our leadership returned in kind), and GAM seems to have a large portion of membership that is pretty negative towards us.
This situation perplexes me for the following reasons:
1. We would set alarms and wake up to fight along side you guys during the zergs.
2. We have been nothing but loyal to the Rengade ideals.
3. I feel that we have displayed the utmost level of integrity with refusal to lock districts (GAM seems to have issue with us because we "lost our districts"... Gentlemen, we were the only corp in the game with unlocked districts, thus EVERYONE WAS ATTACKING US AND ONLY US!!! Everyone that had a bone to pick with Renegade was sending a constant stream of a team PC players against us, we only lost a handful of districts before everyone started locking theirs. The majority of districts were lost when DDB was the ONLY corp that resided in Molden Health that left their districts unlocked).
Now, for the reason I singled out CapAcq... I was only talking about the time that I was absent. CapAcq had approached me many times about inclusion in Renegade Alliance before I went on hiatus. I knew they were a great group of guys back then and they we just starting a new chapter in their history. They were picking up a lot of new players and were doing a great job with improving their PC skills and tactics(I would love to think that me FCing for them on multiple occasions and their willingness to take time with me afterwords to go over suggestions during the after action review helped them accelerate the process, but who knows). I had discussed CapAcq with Kujo several times.
I eventually wanted CapAcq in Renegade. My hesitance to go forward with the process to include CapAcq in renegade was for one reason and one reason only. I didn't want CapAcq to come until they had really solidified their confidence in themselves VS a top tier PC A team. I was worried that if they joined too early, everyone would shift their attacks on DDB to CapAcq and the resulting stress would hinder the explosive growth and skill advancement that they were seeing. I feel that they delay allowed them to mature as a corp and the timing seems to be great. They are doing great now and I was really proud of them, that is why I singled them out. I was not attempting to slight any of the other Renegade corps.

Unrelated, but I love that band.
They are excellent musicians. They can even play outside of their genre and still sound great.
Listen to this song, and then listen to THIS one.
Same band.

By the way, I would love it if the leadership from AE, The last of dust, Go flux yourself and Gods among men would drop me a line so we can hammer everything out and make sure we are on the same page.

Yay! We get to come back again! Losing all our land is nothing new to us. We are still in the process of rebuilding our PC team. Unfortunately, I was not able to be there due to an overaggressive doctor. We will re-tool, adjust and move forward.

Welcome back, Skittles. Your leadership has been missed, and, FWIW, I could not agree more with your assessment of the guys at CapAcq...Leadfoot |
