Word is getting around now, so I figured I should make an official statement. I am back after my hiatus (6 months, I KNOW!!!). I did not intend on being gone for so long, but it was a perfect storm. I had bought a new house and I didn't have for a while. When I finally got internet I texted baby shaker and found out that district locking was an issue (NO THANKS!!!!, was getting tired of being the only corp with unlocked districts and facing the NEVER-ENDING onslaught). I was also upset over CCP going back and changing stats of items purchased with real world money. I was also perplexed at the lack of development we were seeing for this game (we all know why now!). How could they have an entire team working on this game, putting out so little content? When they would bring the nerf hammer out, they didn't even seem to use common sense. The devs also seemed to never respond common sense issues/fixes proposed by players. This game was leaving a bad taste in my mouth, and I wasn't even playing it! I went on for a while, at this point resolved to not waste any more time on this game. Then the announcement about us basically being told that we were unknowing alpha testers for legion... SERIOUSLY!!! I was wondering why our AUR purchases didn't seem to stimulate any development for this game... I guess they were going to legion. At that point I HATED this game, d*mn you CCP for making me hate this game. In the end, I started to miss the guys, DDB is a tight knit group and I MISSED MY BOYS!!! So I came back. Dynasties rise and fall, when you are on top, everyone guns for you. Renegade was no exception. I came back and I was regaled with stories of what I had missed. The eventual breakdown and scattering to the winds, the players that had gone dormant like I once had, the clones that stuck it out. Bonds formed, bonds broken, STB screwing us over again (we were used to it by now, please refer to the DDB Bible: Genesis 1:1-7:23, Exodus 1:1-3:17, Frenimies 1:34-3:6, Skarkon I 2:9-5:19, Skarkon II 1:1-13, Skarkon III 2:12-6:22, Operation F*ck SVER Prime 1:1:4:13, Leviticus [all of it, they have violated EVERY Levitican law], E tu STB? 1:1-2:27, Again STB? 1:1-4:27, Seriously STB? 1:1 [this book only has one verse], Modern revalations:Things to come 1:1-???). Hearing about CapAcq rising to the occasion, I was so happy to hear about your successes...
BREAK Capital Acquisitions: You guys have ALWAYS been stand up guys. CapAcq ALWAYS offered/s help even when we didn't/don't ask, CapAcq will wake up to hit a timer with you, CapAcq has always stood by their word. CapAcq is a fun group of guys. In summary, thanks guys, look forward to working with you more in the future. /BREAK
I am happy to see that DDB was not destroyed like so many corps that disappear when the going gets tough. That is one thing I can say, DDB has a core that is and will always be there, we are family. If you are a "corp of the month" kind of guy, pass us by, we don't need/want you... If you need a home with some fun guys that know how to get down? Then come on in, grab a beer, some dank and maybe a handful of shrooms if you really wanna see how we rock out.
Diplo, diplo, diplo... I have already touched base with several of you, but there are still a ton of people that I need/would love to talk to. Hit me up if I am online (I can be found in "DDB chat"). I would like to talk with the usual suspects and open up lines of communications with former/current enemies(this is just a game after all). There is one exception, STB (it pains me, I have a lot of friends in STB... hell, my IRL brother is STB. But if we have learned one thing: deals with STB are bad news). Make that two exceptions, Smoke ThatKushALLDayHOLYSH*TIAMUNDERHOUSEARRESTBECAUSEIAMADEGENERATEINREALLIFETOO.... That one is should be self-explanatory. Anyways, looking forward to talking with old friends and making new ones. Hit me up!

Will do. Was always a fun fight when it was pure DDB vs pure DL. You should drop me a line sometime and we can hammer it out.

Get yas back in the game. I can also set you up a legit STB vs DDB thunderdome match. I will ferry both teams in on my districts. No risk of flips for either team, kill as many of each others clones as you possibly can. I will ref it lol. And have it recorded from a DS. One catch tho..Kody has to say sorry for calling me Kane 2 and a **** lol.
Welcome back.
I am guessing he called you a N*zi? He does that a lot. I can't make Kody apologize, nor would I want to attempt to force a DDB director to apologize(their fire is what keeps me busy as a diplomat). One thing you have to remember, DDB throws down EVERY night, so you need to assume that any given time we are under the influence of one or more performance enhancing/dimminishing substances, take what we say with a grain of salt. I am surprised that the name of the man that handed you ERA would be considered an insult. You might want to look into that. My dealings with Kane have been somewhat limited, but he has always stood by his word to me, thus he has given me no reason to curse his name or regard it as an insult.

Agree and disagree.
I took off when DDB was still at its' peak. So, yes, technically DDB did go downhill. However, I don't think it was specifically because I left. All I bring to the table is my diplo and FC skills, I am not some crazy slayer, just a logi here. The director that took over diplo was having issues interfacing with other corps because his character was younger (he started playing the game late, but can kill me in 1v1 9.7 out of 10 times, with less than half the sp, just boss). Nevermind the fact that he has been DDB for 5 years, maybe longer... people just assumed that he was a newb because he had only been around for 6 months. We also had Roman doing a great job as FC until he was requisitioned as the ERA CEO. Yes, I should have come back earlier, but I was too busy with IRL issues. I am back, we are retraining, having fun. We will get serious within the next month or two.

I'm sorry, i just needed to step in here for some clarification.
before i begin i would like to say welcome back skittles, there was always DDB i liked and DDB i disliked(you know who you are) and you happened to be the one of the ones i liked.
That being said, what i just read kind of hurts me. You see, when you say things like : "Dynasties rise and fall, when you are on top, everyone guns for you. Renegade was no exception" It makes me think that you think that we at A.E have abandoned you. While it is true that the body which was A.E. has left the game, We at Go Flux Yourself. still keep the spirit alive.
When DDB was getting beat up by Leaves of absence and becoming more of an EvE corp we ALWAYS filled your timers when you needed and we weren't busy. When you guys came up to us and called ERA a "SuperTeam" and said you just can't beat them we volunteered to stick by you and fight every battle. Every negotiation that was made we made SURE our renegade brothers came with us. Through thick and thin we fought for you guys. all of you. Yet this misleading post makes me think that everything we've done for you has been forgotten.
It pains me to think you no longer think of us as your allies. Or that we have abandoned you. To this day i still rely heavily on my DDB brothers to support me as i will them shall the occasion ever arise.
That's all i had to say though. #Renegade4Lyfe
Sorry, I guess I wasn't clear with my explanation. I was referring to the fact that Renegade was on the top and because of that, everyone wanted to take down Renegade. Problem was, we took a hard line on district locking. We kept thinking they would have to be crazy to not patch it! I filed tickets, I spoke directly with devs, I even posted on the forums... barely to any avail. They fixed the issue months after public posts detailed the process. Because we were the last corp to finally lock our districts, we were getting attacked incessantly.
I never thought that AE abandoned us. And we would not abandon AE, or NS or CapAcq for that matter. What we did in Renegade was awesome, we will never forget it. When I asked my guys about all the political changes while I was gone, there were multiple times where we got some pretty amazing offers from individual metagamers and alliances, the condition was abandoning AE or our Renegade allies as a whole. We were offered what amounted the fabled "golden parachute," insane amounts of ISK, land and even a premade "corp of the month". We obviously did not take any of the deals. AE was there for us when we needed and we were there for AE when they needed us.
It is a shame that AE didn't stay whole, and I do wish for Kujo's return. At least the majority of AE is still in the alliance, however, we don't seem to have the rapport with these new corps that we once shared with AE. This pains me. But rest assured, we absolutely do not think AE abandoned us and we still hold them in high regard.

Ok, I heard about what issues people were having about my post. This post was referring to the time since I stopped playing. I singled out CapAcq for a specific reason, more on that later. I was not attempting to state that AE abandoned us in ANY way. We know they were there, they proved it by their actions. In turn, we also proved our loyalty to AE. We love AE and will never forget what we accomplished together.
It sucks that AE has split up for the most part. It seems like there is a small contingent left in AE(thaat loves us) and the rest have ended up in Go Flux Yourself, Gods Among Men, The last of dust. It seems that GFY is the group that likes us, TLOD seems somewhat indifferent towards us (however there were apparently some issues with a refusal when asked for help, which our leadership returned in kind), and GAM seems to have a large portion of membership that is pretty negative towards us.
This situation perplexes me for the following reasons:
1. We would set alarms and wake up to fight along side you guys during the zergs.
2. We have been nothing but loyal to the Rengade ideals.
3. I feel that we have displayed the utmost level of integrity with refusal to lock districts (GAM seems to have issue with us because we "lost our districts"... Gentlemen, we were the only corp in the game with unlocked districts, thus EVERYONE WAS ATTACKING US AND ONLY US!!! Everyone that had a bone to pick with Renegade was sending a constant stream of a team PC players against us, we only lost a handful of districts before everyone started locking theirs. The majority of districts were lost when DDB was the ONLY corp that resided in Molden Health that left their districts unlocked).
Now, for the reason I singled out CapAcq... I was only talking about the time that I was absent. CapAcq had approached me many times about inclusion in Renegade Alliance before I went on hiatus. I knew they were a great group of guys back then and they we just starting a new chapter in their history. They were picking up a lot of new players and were doing a great job with improving their PC skills and tactics(I would love to think that me FCing for them on multiple occasions and their willingness to take time with me afterwords to go over suggestions during the after action review helped them accelerate the process, but who knows). I had discussed CapAcq with Kujo several times.
I eventually wanted CapAcq in Renegade. My hesitance to go forward with the process to include CapAcq in renegade was for one reason and one reason only. I didn't want CapAcq to come until they had really solidified their confidence in themselves VS a top tier PC A team. I was worried that if they joined too early, everyone would shift their attacks on DDB to CapAcq and the resulting stress would hinder the explosive growth and skill advancement that they were seeing. I feel that they delay allowed them to mature as a corp and the timing seems to be great. They are doing great now and I was really proud of them, that is why I singled them out. I was not attempting to slight any of the other Renegade corps.
