Considering they have a much longer activation time now, as well as some of the top-end suits able to tank a STD RE hit, they're not nearly as bad as before. The activation timer is the kicker. |

2 Heavies with a Logi sitting inside the point (I'm talking about Bravo inside of 2 in 2 out Rings map). Range isn't a solution due to map situation. PLC? The Logi will rep through it, or the heavies will flat out KILL you at that range. Shotguns won't help, as there is no way to flank.
The ONLY good solutions for that scenario are THE POCKET and RE's. (or tons of nade spam, although that only eliminates the Logi, and you would need 2-3 people for that to work.
For people who don't know what I'm talking about: If you don't know what the Pocket is, you probably don't know what map I was talking about either. I'm not going to explain either.

Really?
An Allotek Plasma Cannon deals 1155HP of damage, and has the Hybrid - Plasma damage profile. A Sentinel gk.0 (when fully tanked) has 1811HP, and when you factor in the damage profiles, that's actually 1879 eHP.
Even with Gallente Commando Dropsuits V and Proficiency V (raising the Allotek Plasma Cannon's damage to 1460.8HP), you still wouldn't OHK a Sentinel gk.0, and he'd have 350HP left, which is just enough to call on his Logis to repair him at 175HP/s while he blasts you with 910 DPS.

That is the correct map
The "Pocket" is the area on grid points M8-10 and N8-10
The bridge on this area gives you a clear shot through the passageway where "B" is on this map.
A person with a combat rifle can shred people on the objective at that range, and there is ample cover to do work.
However, due to this, it is a HEAVILY contested spot in PC. It switches hands so often it's no even funny (At least with most teams I play)
Whoever controls the pocket can make Bravo a living hell. It also lets you control the hallway on that side as well (Grid points K7-K10)

Disappointingly, it's true. The single aspect of remotes which really needed change - the activation delay - did not get increased any significant amount. (tiered damage was okay though) If the delay would be something at least five+ seconds that would seriously limit the use as a grenade.
If Rattati really sees that there should be remotes that have short delay, then make it a RE variant dealing way less damage. (hint: RE variants would be cool: hard-to-scan / 'directed blast' for AV work / high-HP ones...)

If you are sitting in a corner camping, you deserve to be killed by remotes, as its the only counter to you.
If you are moving, you can't be killed by remotes anyways, so i don't see the problem here.
Also, why are you isolating remote explosives as a scouts weapon? Most of the time, I use them on my assault suits, and not my scout (as a minja has to choose between cloak and remotes, and i choose cloak most of the time), so why is this a problem with just scouts?
Are you trying to say that suits with EQ slots are OP because they can kill heavies?

The only difference now is a heavy with at least one shield extender will survive basic possibly even advanced but he will be down to almost nothing.
It's a little more fair now because us full proto heavies have a chance to sink a round of HMG into the scout filth |
