I flank a bit, and time my strikes as best as I can. I will become much more aggressive after I have taken the measure of the enemy, or become more cautious, depending on the situation. Adaptability is my name. I have several Scout, Assault, Logi, and Heavy fittings to adjust to conditions as the battles progress.

Lights down, sound WAY up, playing a scout to the hilt.
BTW, if you've never played Dust LOUD, you should try it out... and I do mean as loud as the neighbors can stand. subs, big speakers, headphones... the sound in this game is one of the most immersive parts.

I play to keep my squad alive. If they start falling and I cant keep up myself, I switch to slaying hoping to kill the rest of the hostiles so I can pick up my team.
I put logi's into situations they probably shouldn't be in. Sometimes I win, sometimes i lose

Reckless at times, but it serves its purpose. I also like to distract the enemy while the main group spearhead the attack. I also cause havoc by flanking - the strategy of the indirect approach is my main weapon be it with a scout, heavy or assault.

I will generally switch roles when something doesn't seem to be working, and I'll try to take advantage, distract or disrupt enemy tactics. If all of that fails, I'll just jump into one of the starter fits and have fun, pissing off the enemy team. |

Tactical / Stategic with a hint of aggressiveness
I prefer to control the map and take actions while the enemy is unaware, or being drawn to where I want them. Then the aggressiveness comes in when it comes to shoot outs.

I'm the least popular type of player. I'm the type of player that makes you angrier than you believe you should be at somebody on a video game.
What type of player am I? Fair.
I believe in sportsmanship and graciously accepting a loss and not using super cheap tactics to get a kill. I don't sit in red lines in a tank. I don't sit in the red line with a sniper rifle. I don't rock a modded controller or use some crazy strafing tactic with a modded keyboard/mouse (I've seen it done) to cheat you out of a kill.
I don't use dropsuits with crazy configuration triple stacked hardeners on tanks or anything else. And here comes the worst part....the part that you get so mad about. I expect you to do the same.
I expect you to play fair and be good sports and not CRU camp in an assault drop ship or a tank and get 70 kills and zero deaths in a match because you're too chickenshit to get out of the tank.
I believe in fair. I just wish I could make video games because I would eliminate every single way for people to be cheap and force them to be fair.
Like I said...not a popular type of player |
