I know dust is all about 'gettin' yours' and all that, but sometimes, the other team has taken up a position: Tanks on the hills, assaults on the ground, an ADS hovering above turret-high-angle...
Well my friends, I present to you the best way I know how of pressing forward from this situation. You'll have to make a sacrifice to your usual fitting for 30 seconds and play as a team, but this works when even 2 people participate:
Fitting:
Militia Heavy Suit (adapt as necessary) Militia Forge Gun Militia Sidearm (your favorite flavor) Militia Shield mod Militia Armor Repairer Militia Grenade
Once you have 2-4 people with this fit, the Vehicles will melt, the infantry will run, and your teammates can begin to rally under the cover of the forge guns. It works better than running into a killbox of RS-90's and getting instapopped, quitting the match, throwing your controller, and helping the reds win.
note: I have no skills in forge guns

Here's a better strategy: Back out.

Usually like to take my dren scout and take the long way around the blockade. Lay some uplinks and try to hack an objective. If we get snuffed out again, then I sit there with my rail rifle and swarms and try to inflict as much pain as possible on the red line campers. Sometimes it works, sometimes it don't.
Embracing my inner scrub since 2013.

This hurts matchmaking and puts people into games that are in this situation already, causing the newberries to hate the game and the DUST514 population to dwindle. It's a Zero-sum game.
I mean, I love it when my team is redlined because the protobears stand there like a row of potatoes ready to be harvested by my knives... I'm just trying to help the 'community.'
I used to be a trainer, now I'm a terror.
Proto doesn't matter vs. knives...
