I am sorry, this post is not pretty, but please do read on, it still might be a pipe dream, that weapon parity may include the Minmatar Precision Rifle, and that it will be able to sufficently deal with Caldari Comandos and their racial weapon.

So I come from a year of marksmanship.
I also have all suits in Minmatar at advanced, with prototype mk.0 Logistics, which I use the Logistics suit for both logibro and the following sniper suits.
Reasons for using a logistical suit in Minmatar obviously equimpent I would use the Min Commando, but what's the point when the suit bonus doesnt apply as it should to a wepon that I should have aviable, but that Min Logistics, that is my best little secret and the 2 of my most valuable suit fitments are right here for everyone to see, comment, and field test. (btw takes about 25 million SP to carry this alone so it's a primary marksman kit]
The suit and fitments that I will be using for the event.
Minmatar Logistics mk.0
Primary Charge Sniper Operator.
1 x Minmatar Logistics mk.0
1 x Charge Sniper Rifle
3 x Complex damage modifiers
1 x Complex Precision Enhancement
(Increases frame rendering, target information relay,
and cleans up the enemys position ie: Red Chevron is closer to target location)
3 x Complex Armour Plates
1 x Complex Range Amplifier
(increases visual target acquisition range
NOT binocular or zoom fidelity)
2 x Compact nanohive
1 x X-3 Quantum nanohive
1 x Wiyrkomi Triage nanohive
# adjustments to this are
Dropping Complex Range Amplifier (right hand) and Wyrikomi hive (equipment) change to
(4) Complex Armour plates for fully armoured fitting,
using the compact haves to repair if you a injured.
Other variations include nanite injectors and uplinks when working with another sniper in squad.
Nanite injectors only if your spotter had not been HS.
Also
Adding Remote explosives. Claymores.

#variations on this are
Dropping to only 1 Complex Dampener for
1 Complex Range Amplification

Dropping Advanced Cloak Field for Basic, gives you heaps of room to play with hives, Remote Explosives, Proximity explosives, scanners, and again space for more armour, nanite injectors etc.
Now, even though the above detail is not currently equiped with the Minmatar Precision Rifle, these two suits are exactly where it will be fitted, well, should be able to be fitted. I will also spec into prototype Minmatar Commando when, the Minmatar Precision Rifle is released. This has been my highest priority in DUST 514 for my entire service, but after reading the abovementioned quotes, you can guage at how disapointed I am. Hence this reply.
Moving back to the MPR.

I believe that this is a reasonable enough current weaponary 'look alike' is the SAKO TRG-21.338 Lapua Magnum,
however; the closest picture of a real world similar weapon (of what I think the final model should be based upon) is of the SAKO TRG-21.338 Lapua Mag modified by Surgeon Rifles and branded under 'PSR' which is here

Considering the survey results, the above examples are a pretty neat fit to the Minmatar Precision Rifle model so the reloading sequence, weapon handling sequence and the visual / audio responce form the weapon. One thing that I would make sure of is that ...

Night maps, explosive sniper bullets leaving a red streamline in the air for 4 seconds, bullet that passes through squishy targets and explodes when impacting the ground behind them at 800+ meters. These are my dreams.
