This would be neat.
I have no reason to log on this weekend.
I'm nearly capped (ie one more skirmish and I'm done for the week) and then I'll just log in for my daily bonus.

CCP already confirmed that they will be added to the salvage drops at the end of match.
So I guess we'll just have to play even MORE Dust in order to try out all of the new officer weapons.

1 of each weapon would not hurt economy that much, they can make us a gift for our partecipation.
If they have a plan to raise the % drop rate then i would be even more satisfied.

Maybe for those that end up getting to name the weapon...as well as second and third place
But not just anyone who killed someone else with a proto weapon. How are you supposed to tell if someone was even participating or not? lol

Not everyone should get one, but more people certainly should.
So winner gets 30 copies.
Top 10 get 10 copies?
Top 50 get 3 copies, like a single salvage drop would be? Maybe even the top 100 people for each weapon?
Sounds fair. I mean, at least one random blueberry who got 0 WP in a match is going to be "rewarded" with 3 copies of the weapon as salvage the following week anyway, right?
Sounds fair, rewards people who give a high level effort but don't quite make it.

I do feel like they are far too rare. I've got 25M SP+ and haven't received one of each type yet. I do have a silly amount of Gastun's though...

And once that a bluebarry have a officier weapon which need proficiency to lvl 3 maybe if he can use it is not a bluebarry...with my alt i will not take part to the event mostly because i prefer the assault version of the weapon which i don't know why are excluded
