Don't use a cloak, cloaks make you stupid.

Learn patience - even if the enemy knows you're there, if you're fast enough and use the map well enough you can be too much effort to track down, and if they get careless you can punish quickly.

You absolutely should run damps because not every cal scout runs precision enhancers all the time, nor are they necessarily squadded up with your most common opponents. I usually make do with just one, i hugely recommend doubling on your speed. In a min scout you don't need cardiac regs. (maybe if you play melee-only, i run out of stamina at some inopportune moments. not often enough to warrant using one, but hey)

If it's specifically calscouts giving you trouble, bite the bullet and grab a shotty instead and play defensively until you can pop them. Seeing everything doesn't make them smart, you can easily get lucky or they can get impatient.

remember than when you see musturd or mollerz or me roll through a team racking up 40 kills, it doesn't happen because of blitzing or getting desperate to rack up points - it comes from striking at the exact right moment and letting the other team fall apart as a result. There will be dead periods, especially as you learn exactly when and who to make your move. Patience is important.

Cloaks are only good for crossing open ground and shotgun ganking people, every other circumstance is better handled by using your brain.
