I have seen no decline in dedicated tankers, I have only seen
1) A decline in mlt tank, pubstomps
2) One team deploying 6 tanks straight out of the boxs
3) 1 tank literally sponging everything thrown at it
4) Idiot tankers who sit atop an objective
5) Higher volume of LAV's and ADS
From what I conclude, K can happily say as a dedicated AVer and Assault Dropship pilot myself that, you are talking complete and utter codswallop.
Tanks are no longer overpowered and all the idiots sho use tanks are still playing them like they are!
Looks like its back to FPS Military Shooter 56

the problem is, it not fair for the tanker if i can solo him what happen if just another guys have av weapons? the answer is,it pointless bringing another tank. i just love the satisfaction of destroying a nerd with a full jeep of forge and swarms experts lol
Umm how about you bring along a:guy with a rifle? This why it's balanced previously we were in a rut where power was in state of 'linear escalation', that is to say there is a single straigt line representing force strength.
Tanks were at the top end of that line, meaning nothing other than a tank was considered as strong or effecient as a tank. Now common practice under linear escalation terms is just to go straight to the top, skip out the actual escalation and brute force. This is referencable in dust by the amount of times the team vehicle quota consisted entirely of tanks.
Now with what few chamges have been made AV can effectively do it it's job, in most cases a tank can still amd will do the same job better. But we now have circular escalation, which means somewhere along the line something at the top of the chain is weak to something at the bottom.
What thos creates is an entirely different form of strategic play, because everything deployed has a counter, winning comes from knowing what power is available and knowing, when, how and where to deploy it!
My suit's a bit rusty, but that could just as easily be me!
