Ok so ccp you should make it available for corporations to buy clubhouses with squad layouts for corp battles that would make planning so much easier have a board were the field commander can make the squads and the others can fix up thier gear and other stuff that would be amazing |

ooh and then we can have sleepovers!
But srsly, I do think a Guildhall-type location would be nice.
Maybe through one of those doors?

not happening. 2 reasons.
1. dust isnt getting any new content. ever. seriously.
2. this is called ambulation, or walking in station. this was a feature that was being worked on in eve. that started with captains quarters back in the incarna expansion. they canceled it and "put it on the back burner" after the negative reception of incarna and massive player riots and ccp interpreted it as we didnt want to be able to walk in station and interact.
now where they went wrong is what the riots were about were largely because of microtransactions ccp introduced with incarna, shirts cost $20 and there was a monocle that cost $70. this is in an mmo that already costs 15 a month. it was dubbed "monoclegate" people were mad that ccp only did a few small captains quarters and then just threw in a bunch of cash grab cosmetic items. ccp was unable to understand the concept of us wanting ambulations without unjustified microtransactions. cosmetic items should have always been ingame currency only but they dont agree.
so because we didnt want 70$ cosmetic items were never going to be able to walk in station. at least eve gets a character creator. something we dont have after a year that should have been the first thing any of us saw when we made our characters.
yes it would be amazing and its a good idea, but ccp isnt good at bringing good ideas to fruition hence our current situation.

The riots were largely about broken functionality, removal of content that *worked*, simple cashgrabbing ideas (you missed the GREED IS GOOD letter - and the apology later that wasn't even written by the CEO, he had the ****ing story team do it for him), and yet another thing that was introduced in a state that was broken and promised to be iterated upon while ccp ran off to chase other pretty butterflies.
