Class bonus should be a innate ability when you unlock the STD specialistic suit.
It would be much more user friendly if when you skill your suit you get the bonus.
Class bonus is vital, some more than other: 25% on equip for logi for example is must if you want to play as real logi, you should have access to it in the moment you decide to skill your logi suit.

do you mean Logi bonus or RACIAL logi bonus? or both?
if its -25% pg/cpu use BONUS as standard it may work..
but if its the racial bonus i think it may be a tad OP for some races to have at L1.. Minmatar as prime example with gallente second.. While amarr and caldari would benefit greatly from the change but in my opinion would not be OP

I mean class bonus, the bonus shared with all the suit of the same specialization: logistic, scout, commando, assault and heavy.
Racial bonus should be as they are now.

Agreed: look at Scouts, a standard Scout (ie, a level 1 Scout) cannot fit a cloak without massively destroying their fit...which is the opposite of the point that CCP came up with. |

a good point.. if its just the pg/cpu per level getting changed to a full Role Bonus i can give it a +1

Try this example out:
Caldari medium frame gets: 2% max shield HP per level and 10% charge time reduction to hybrid-rail LW / Sidearms
Caldari Assault gets: Current reload bonus per level
Caldari Logi gets: Current nano hive bonus and CPU/PG reduction for equipment per level (secondary note...really should include nanite injectors in the bonus - separate discussion though)
Here's the trick...the frame bonus is carried over to the specialized suits so... Lvl III medium Frame and Lvl V assault gets the combined benefits of the bonuses. Very similar system in EVE and makes medium Frame SP sink actually valuable.
Thoughts?

I would prefer a innate bonus, but your solution give a sense to non specialistic frames too and i like it.

I started a specific thread to push this for an upcoming Hotfix... pick a frame set or race and build an example....i'll keep the OP posted.
