Seriously, it feels like it's missing 1 or 2 modules. 2 low slots is simply not enough room to do -anything- with especially as logis naturally have a lower health pool to begin with.
Both the A-1 and M-1 have 2H and 2L, while the C-1 gets 2H and 1L, but the G-1 only gets 2L. It then grows at odd intervals to 'catch up' with the general fitting principles of the other fits.
M-1 and A-1 gain 2 slots and the C-1 and G-1 gain 3 slots letting the Caldari be in line in the series class.
Then in the k.0 class the A-1 is broken as it gains nothing, (it's been recognized I believe) the C-1 and M-1 gain 2 more slots as per normal, and the Gk.0 gains another 3 slots allowing it to finally be in line with the others.
Personally I'd like to see -at least- a high or low slot added to the G-1 to match it with the C-1 and then gain the 3 slots in the series class to become 2H,4L and grow with the standard of 2 more at proto for its final form at 3H,5L. Ideally I wonder why they both don't start off with a total of a total of 4 slots: 1H,3L and 3H,1L for the G-1 and C-1 respectively to let them grow in line with the other suits from the get-go, but I'd be happy with the above proposal.
Also, I'm sure the Amarrians among us would appreciate a proper 4H,4L proto suit, if that could be squeezed in Charlier, that'd be cool.

Medium suit progression is currently being looked at.
Several people have already suggested fixes and solutions, but yes I think we all agree that 2 low slots at basic doesn't make sense compared to every other suit.
