ive played this game awhile spent enough money, had enough fun, made enough friends, but i think it might be time for me to no longer be apart of this community. 2 days ago i was unable to log in to my ps3 so unable to play dust, so i lost my consecutive days lol i recently got a 700$ gforconly pc only to find i dont like keyboard and mouse to play video game and my ps4 controller dont work on my pc. atm i am very dipleased with this games performance i played this game as long as i have because it showed promise and some of my friends still play. if dust in next few years gets the performance upgrade it deserves and moves to ps4 i would drop all other games and play dust in a heartbeat. i heard valkerie might be on ps4 if so you'll see me there but i heard its not connected to eve so i hope the runs well and i can run thru matches faster if its a less social game too those still playing i hope you continue to enjoy the game till server closes

My ps4 controller works on mine and most games support it now.

Keyboard and mouse takes time to get good with.

You PC should automatically install the ps4 controller when you plug it in and you will have to sort the key bindings in the options of most games and controller is listed as joystick support.

Was in a similar situation as you where my consecutive days of logging in came to end (mine was due to vacation.) This was right at the time of FanFest and I admit that the game had been losing its appeal for me (to the point where I wasn't even capping out each week) but, after about two weeks away from the game, I decided to give it another go and have been enjoying it much more since my hiatus.

But do those former addicts hang with other current addicts, and hang in areas where their (former) dealers conduct business?

If so, that former addict is behaving in a way that is not conducive to maintaining sobriety.

Just saying. Cause the addicts that I knew did not announce to addicts and dealers that they were quitting (and then continue to associate with the same people). Which, if the stupid DUST/drug/addict comparisons are continued, is comparable to what is going on here (and with others who "quit DUST").

Guys, stop making excuses. The concrete point remains, those who talk about leaving still come to the forums. That's what I said in my post and it is truth.

Your post gives the impression that coming back, means coming back to play. Lots of us that left the game itself and stopped playing, never left the forums. Others, simply want to come back to the forums, but not necessarily play the game itself.

Answer to the first part of your questions is yes. Its called Alcoholics Anonymous and yes sometimes they do go to the bars and drink cranberry juice or club sodas.

I haven't played Dust in months now since Fanfest 2014 since I'm now just waiting for Project Legion so that my character can be ported over. I do log in at least once a month just to see how much unallocated SP I passively gained during that month. I also log in to make sure I stay in D-UNI because Dennie Fleetfoot tends to boot out players who have been inactive for more than a month.
