CCP I disagree with you about putting LEGION on PC and heres why. 1. The Dust 514 community consist of console gamers 2. It was a great idea to link PC gamers and console gamers in one universe. 3 The PlayStation Gamer community is much larger than the PC elitist gamer community. 4.The future of Playstation 4 is looking good on the GPD forecast. I've invested so much time into Dust 514, though I do have a bad ass gaming rig, I'm a console gamer at heart. I found Dust 514 on PlayStation Home, got my closed beta key from the Dust 514 lounge on the PS3 and never looked back. I remember before Dust 514 even hit the scene people were recruiting heavy on PlayStation Home.
Now with Next Gen technology here and my Playstation 4 set for the next wave of Next Gen gaming. I was really hoping LEGION would be developed for the PlayStation 4. My investment to Dust 514 is major and I would hate if I couldn't be part of New Eden on the PlayStation 4. CCP reconsider what your doing and fight for development of LEGION for the PlayStation 4. I believe in you guys making a badass AAA title exclusive for the PlayStation 4. If you wanna crowd fund LEGION for the Playstation 4 to make the game every hardcore Dust 514 fan wants lets do this. You guys have horrible PR.
Mercenaries in the world of New Eden are saying Dust 514 is dead but I believe different. I'm screaming make LEGION for the PlayStation 4 let us continue our war. I found Dust 514 on PS3 not PC. The coolest experience was the cross platform link between a console and a PC from both types of gamers on both platforms. You made it happen CCP. LEGION should be a PS4 title. |

No doubt, I too would love it on PS4. But when you put all bullet points on the scale, you see that PC outweighs PS4.

Not to be an ass, but hotfixes require no approval. They only take as much time as CCP requires... With no approval, they can also royally screw up (as CCP QA has proven to not notice jack squat of issues) just as easily... Which is then fixed with a hotfix that requires no additional time...
I don't believe PC gamers really embrace shooters like console gamers do. Point and click with hot keys is easy compared to using DS3's which takes real skill to use on the console side. Next gen hardware from Sony I must say spec wise they got it right. I hope you remember PC gaming almost died 8 years ago, the console market almost killed it, Steam saved PC. The cool thing about PC is you do get some really good mmo/ action rpg games with tons of exploration and customization, next gen consoles technologically are pretty much on par with pc.
Everyone whose hardcore in gaming knows pc's evolves at a rapid pace which is great because console hardware will be improved to dedicate all of it's next gen hardware specs to gaming unlike pc. The mod community is the real brains behind gaming because they aren't afraid to try new things thats what I love about PC the most. One day consoles will be the God gaming machines every gamer dreams of until then I do agree PC is king of technological advancement in gaming. |
