What the **** is this bullshit. Never had this problem, but suddenly today, on 5 separate occasions, the menu pops up RIGHT as I'm about to engage another player. Let me better define this crap. EVERY SINGLE TIME a shot gunner de-cloaked and shot "at" me, I engaged the guy, and "BAM!" the menu pops up. The menu with the vehicles and war barge and oms crap.
So on 5 occasions after the shot gunner tries to get me this happens. 5 different players, 5 different games. Never happened before today. I'm infuriated with this game. Can't get any enjoyment out of this game it seems.

Wow.. Brilliant. I'll check this out later tonight when I get out of work.
Side note, This kept happening to me against the same 3 shot gunners, EVERY TIME a shot registered a hit on my character. And it happened ONLY with the shotgun and no other gun. So I'm hard pressed to think that something else is involved, but nonetheless I will give this a shot.
And, side note, my L3 is not what opens the menu, it's the D-Pad that activates it, so this fix seems rather useless when you take into consideration the buttons involved.

This happened to me when Jade Tech, xVenerex, and this one guy from Molon Labe, whose name eludes my memory at the moment, hit me with their shot guns. EVERY TIME. It is infuriating. If I'm playing against them I just leave battles now because it happens every time.

Every day I sign on, I have to play a "suicide match." Apparently, my controller likes to send me to the menu repeatedly during the first match I play when I get on Dust, whether it be the "Run toggle" button or "vehicle menu" button. It was pure bad luck that this happened to you in a PC. Maybe you were sent to the menu by pressing randoms buttons when you were surprised by my shotgun. Maybe something with the client did this to you when certain enemy action codes approached your character on the battlefield. Idk...
That PC match we played against you, I saw you come at me every time, there was no surprise with my 4 complex precision enhancers.
It's just that when ever that shotgun round registered a hit on me BAM, it would open up. I probably seemed like a complete noob just STANDING there for you to easily finish me off. I can't express the frustration in words.
