For the love of my eyes, please give to the sniper rifle more zoom, i'm not even a sniper but the only sniper rifle i dare to use is Thale, mainly because its zoom (also because it's the best SR).
Tactic sniper rifle zoom is not comparable to Thale zoom.
Increase tac to Thale zoom
Increase normal to a little more than tac zoom.
Please CCP, my eyes will be glad

I have never used the Thale's. I have however used other snipers and I have been playing this game on and off since closed beta. I only just found out a couple of weeks ago that the Thale's has increased zoom compared to any other sniper.
In my opinion that would be the main reason to use a Thale's as I always found the regular snipers to lack the level of zoom I was looking for.
Adjustable scopes / adjustable zoom would be awesome too by the way. |

Please CCP, delete snipers, they are useless, kills the action (a 16 vs 16 is often a 10 vs 10 because of them), Risk vs rewards is not balanced.
And to finish, there's other way to cover a point and/or objective than that.
Was kidding, but seriously Snipers odn't deserve ANY kind of love. |

if a sniper gets in the right place they can 100% guaranteed cover a cap point with 0% risk. this needs fixing

Don't listen to the butthurt whiners who are too lazy to pick up their free sniper fit and shoot back. They say snipers are useless, but also that the risk vs reward isn't balanced. If snipers really were useless, there would be no "reward".

To kill a sniper, take a sniper. WTF ? And then what are we supposed to do ? 16 vs 16 snipers ? Stupid kid.
They are useless to action, even Roadkillers into invicible LAV are more useful than snipers....

5-0 with 425 WP. You risked pretty much nothing and still got paid and got SP. Either redline sniping needs to be completely impossible along with them being useful while not crouched so they're actually viable without hiding in your spawn or rifle costs needs to increase by a lot.
The only sniper worth a damn in this game is Nod Keras. Do you know why? Because this guy can go 20+/0-2 easily while pushing objectives and hacking points.
Sniper rifles are bad without playing campy camp in the hills but it's still not an excuse.
The Amarr scout bonus is like the old Amarr sentinel bonus. No one needed 25% reduction to overheat damage on a heavy;_;

No, how about 16 vs 16 using whatever fits they damn well please? You don't see me whining about HMG heavies being able to mow down a scout in half the blink of an eye, do you?

Yeah, running around in the meat grinder with the rest of the cannon fodder crunchies is SO much more useful than being able to observe and cover the majority of the map, and selectively engage targets based on priority, rather than whoever you run into.
If snipers were useless, people wouldn't hate them so much, they'd just be indifferent to them. You frustration and impotent rage towards them is evidence of their use. |
