So, how are the blaster turrets on the front of the dropship if you've tried. I would hope it would be like the HMG idea they were trying to pull off.
I specced level 5 in flaylock after the nerf if that doesn't make me God I don't know what will...

I think it be best used for Air to Air applications instead. I'll test it tomorrow after some isk gets my way again.

Absolute trash. You can hit more shots now if you're point blank but otherwise there's way too much dispersion at range(~30-40 meters)
The Amarr scout bonus is like the old Amarr sentinel bonus. No one needed 25% reduction to overheat damage on a heavy;_;

yes as stated above they are terrible still, better than they were but still quite bad, with a lvl 5 incubus you'll be returning to base every 40 seconds to reload for a start, and it takes pretty much the entire clip to kill a single person, with dedication you could probably make the blaster semi useful, but its low effectiveness against hard targets compounds its weakness against troops.
It might be useful for side gunners on an incubus, though personally thats not my thing, too easy to get killed trying to keep it steady and stable enough for a gunner to shine.

i picked up some fed methana's to try them out. dont waste your time rails are still king for lav use. the lack of any real range makes it worthless compared to other turret options on a ds.
took 3/4 to drop mlt suits and that was at very close range.. clip to small dispersion to great.

Hmm, haven't played bravo but it sounds like blasters are about the same. I was going to try them out on a python with my gunner but maybe I won't. |

I have test it. It is useless, but pretty fun though. I wasn't able to get any infantry kills, however, it is pretty fun against large turrets and tanks.

testing it with +50% rate of fire is worth it for the sound alone, just a shame its all bark no bite.

its fun to troll with but expect lots of assists, not enough kills. Not a viable strategy in PC though

on ads you have better luck using a small rail n the front. That small blaster turret got a huge range nerf with the inclusion of spread. Wait till they either apply a fix or just come out with turret variations again.

If you want to listen to someone, listen to Judge. I asked him how they were... It wasn't a good response.
