change the radar to show only red or blue dots. i think its a little too powerful to scan someone and not only know their position, but which way they are facing as well. idk when it was changed, but i know it wasnt always like this |

          Generally I support this.
If we could actually suggest a more complicated code-change I'd go with this: If scan precision is larger than scan profile you get no blip on the tacnet. If scan precision is lower than scan profile by less than 15% you get a circular blip on the tacnet. If scan precision is lower than scan profile by more than 15% you get a blip with direction on the tacnet.

If scan precision is larger than scan profile you get no blip on the tacnet. If scan precision is lower than scan profile by less than 15% you get a slightly transparent blip on the tacnet, that fades in/out. If scan precision is lower than scan profile by more than 15% you get a solid blip with no direction on the tacnet.
the reason i hate having the direction on the tacnet is because i cant defend from it. he knows when im looking and not looking at him without me knowing hes even there. the point of cloaking is to let you do things that you couldnt normally do without being seen, such as peaking around a corner.
personally, i like the radar we have now, i just wish we could be back to our 15m range with no direction.

what you are suggesting will make the cal scout op cause if tacnet no longer showed direction enemy was facing alot of ppl would no longer feel the need for dampeners cause they know a cal scout will most likely see them anyway , which any smart player would know that the direction the enemy was moving in would be the direction they was facing in, unless they are moving backwards which isn't advisable in any scenario
hey you liar! i didn't sneak up on you, i was following you for 5 minutes , waiting for you to hack that cru for a camp
