I would have to disagree. It is not that the cloak lets the scout sneak up behind me directly, its that a cloak allows a scout to move across the field uncontested where he otherwise may or may not have been seen by a fellow team mate with a rr, cr, scr, or laser. This allows the scout to get into the position behind you that he may not have otherwise been able to do. More over it allows the scout with a very powerful cqc weapon to move across vast open distances with no need for long range cover fire from supporting squad or teamates. I know, I have a Gal Proto scout, and a Cal scout, with proto cloaks. This allows the scout to not only do his job but get in positions to slay. I personally feel an overall change to the radar system would alleviate much of this as not being able to see which direction someone is facing would make this practice of cloak shotgun in the back much more difficult. That being said I promise im not poor at field awareness, I kill many more of them than they do me.
