I've been asking for this ever since Assault Dropships were put into the game, and at this rate I'll be asking for it in Legion too.
Please.
PLEASE.
Make it so the first person camera in an ADS is NOT locked. Make it swivel EXACTLY like it does in third person.
BAM.
Done. Please for the love of all that is explosive and good in this world. Please, please, please, please make this change.
Please.
EDIT: I get that this might need a client patch. If so...PLEASE put it in the first one that we get.

Even just giving us an option in the controls menu to have the camera fixed or not fixed would be awesome, but I don't think you would notice it too much honestly.
As an Incubus pilot I would love to be able to use my rail / blaster against infantry, but without a proper first person view it's like playing baseball with your eyes closed.
