I...don't think that's how it works. You could be a Minmatar that is brought into the Ishukone Corporation or some crap like that.
But Ishukone is one of the Megacorporations that readily takes Imperial Slaves and sets them up with work, would it not be more likely he went through this programme than Ishukone purchased him. Amarr don't readily sell slaves to outsiders.
Though to be fair Taylor you can't change that you chose a Caldari Bloodline. Why not RP something like a mixed breed Caldari citizen who is ostrachised for his lack of ability to find employ in the state and has fallen through the cracks to the Disassociated Caste. You operate of the grid in Caldari space but hold to your Minmatar blood line both in the State and Republic.

In the state things aren't cut and dry.
You need to be employed by a mega corporation to even have citizenship and some of the Megacorporations views borderline racially puritanical and xenophobic. Additionally there is no "slavery" the Caldari don't have that concept in their culture, but being a wage slave, paid **** poor amounts for lots of work, is not uncommon.
Kamiera's are also wholly different. Kamieras a soldiers bred by the Amarr through meticulous breeding programmes to produce ideal mortal soldiers.
After that they are educated like a normal Amarrian would be, and indoctrinated with the Kamieras purpose. To be soldiers of God. They are then trained until they are physically at their peaks and sent to war.
That in fact is not traditional slavery, Kamieras do tough missions and get great respect and status if they have successful careers, much like any Minmatar who serve in the Imperial Navy. Brutor Tribesmen being the 3rd largest free ethnicity within Amarr Space. However I doubt many Kamieras every stop fighting, they like Templar's, and Paladin (mortal Amarrian Soldiers) soldiers spend their entire lives at war.

im quite sure Caldari were involved with the Kamera in some way.. been like 2 years since i read the chronicles.. white text on black backgrounds hurts my eyes over time.. but i do recall on little exerp.. it is that they burn their fallen showing no emotion which is probably a throwback to a part of their matari dna... Oh i think i remember.. caldari aided in their creation and/or were one of the major recipiants of kameria stock for their inter mega-corp battles at one time?
ps. wage-slaves is basically any one who isnt middle class or higher even by todays standards..
Actually what the Kamieras do is cremate their dead and rub their ashes into their wounds, or self inflicted wounds, so that they are always with one another. Or so Aero tells me.

You operate of the grid in Caldari space but hold to your Minmatar blood line both in the State and Republic. Yes this is a good alternative. That is the crap I was referring to. My Character in DUST and EVE (r) is A Gallente Gallente but 4 generations back I had a Minmatar ancestor whose trait has left her descendants with a slightly darker skin compared to normal Gallente. sounds like it could be the time around when gallente pushed amarr to stop useing slaves and also when gallente aided slaves to escape.. unofficially of course..
The Gallente were never able to push the Amarr to stop taking slaves, however Heideran III, our Hallowed Emperor before Doriam VIII, before Jamyl Sarum I did outlaw the illegal taking and selling of slaves within the Empire, under pain of slavery itself. He also instituted policies after the Battle of Vak'Atioth that ensured that Slaves recieved human rights and were to be looked after and treated properly by their holders.
He was also a major force alongside the Gallente for the establishment of CONCORD, and was even honoured by the Gallente post humorously received in the Aldonis Peace Awards for his efforts in contributing to the relative cluster wide stability and peace.
Additionally it has been due to the Tash-Murkon Family's connections to the Caldari State and the Caldari Amarr Economic Trade Agreements and stimulus packages being exchanged that when Jamyl Sarum announced the emancipation of all 10th Generation Slaves the Caldari were inclined to aid in the rehabilitation and employ of so many former slaves.
In its history the Gallente have never forced the Empire to do anything, both Empires have been very wary of one another, hence why when Uriam Kador attacked the Federation, the Empress stood aside and allowed the Federal Navy to savage the Kador Fleet and assault Kador Prime.

Its not that its forbidden, it just doesn't make sense to the caldari. Slave workers aren't very motivated to work, and aren't kept in good condition further reducing their working capabilities. Then you have to pay for guards and slave drivers and all of the costs associated with that while running the risk of a slave revolt. This is why we have never understood the drive of the amarr to reclaim their slaves, and why no caldari would ever own a slave, as industrialist merchants it just doesn't make sense. Further more ishukone actually created the drug that countered the amarr mind control drug and gave it to the matari so they could revolt so......yeah.....a caldari owning a minmatar slave just wouldn't happen.... Ever.
It's not like it doesn't happen but yeah you are right, to them it doesn't make sense, when a born and raised Caldari already knows its their duty to work for the State.

It's not like it doesn't happen but yeah you are right, to them it doesn't make sense, when a born and raised Caldari already knows its their duty to work for the State. The mega corporation ceo or board members might, and I stress might, but it would be more along the lines of a sex slave or dancer, not for any kind of serious labor. Even then it would be one or two not many and this would be really really rare. It would defiantly only be those higher up with larger pay as most caldari don't have the funds to buy a slave, also because the average caldari gets paid in money specific to their mega corporation and mega corporations doesn't sell slaves. A caldari's duty varies from citizen to citizen. While there is a sense of statehood caldari are conditioned to believe the ideals of their mega corp is in their own best interests. An ishukone citizen will old the interests of the ishukone corp and by proxi the liberal ideals as their own, while a kaalakiota citizen will hold the kaalakiota corp and the patriot ideals. Often a caldari sees his or hers duty to their corporation higher than the states, as everything they have is their mega corps property and their livelihood is provided by their corp. For most caldari their corp is all they know.
Down to a tee sir. You nailed that one.
