For some reason it there is paradox where the less devs we have working on dust the more sh*t get done. These hotfixs were quick and added/fixed things we been asking for.
+1 For another awesome hotfix that added somethings that people been asking for months.
Goodjob CCP Rattati and other people who worked on this hotfix.

The speed and efficiency with which the hotfixes have been implemented is to be commended. Makes you wonder though, about what was happening during some of the uprising updates.

I think the problem was that CCP was running into a lot of walls and shooting for things that could be done on console. Once they stopped with patches and starting focusing on things that could actually get done(balancing and bug fixing, which again, couldn't be done till we had all/most base content)
Yes, a lot of stuff we asked for got ignored, but I still feel like everything was done in the best interest of the players...the PC ones!

I won't be fully satisfied until they change the Calamari's scans somehow, and buff the Minja somehow.
Added bonuses would be removing vehicle collision damage altogether, and helping those dropship pilots out with the AV buff hitting them too hard. |

Honestly, I doubt people were even working on DUST back before CCP Rat (can't remember the spelling ) got here. Just seeing all the fail updates was enough to convince me. Let's look at 1.8. The models were old, there were so many bugs it was as if they finally decided to work on all the new content 2 weeks before release. All those bugs, errors, missed slots... Someone did a really bad job at copy/paste in the code. There was zero debugging involved, etc, etc. Look back even further to the squad finder. No one in their right mind would hard code a timer into the refresh system. This shows that one of the devs was LAZY AS **** and didn't want to code in a manual refresh button (the smart way). Instead we got a... check this one out... LONGER TIMER. i.e., someone changed the number in the variable and then recompiled the code.
At least our new CCP hero has the sensibility to double check the stuff that he puts out there for us so that it works the first time around. He's doing a great job fixing all the other mistakes and errors of the previous devs.

Ummmm... they were busy doing mock-up coding for legion to show off at FanFest like a bunch of jerx?
