These other vehicles should most certainly be back in the game. In point of fact restoring their presence would improve the possibility of viable Vehicle vs Infantry balance. It is much harder to balance Proto AV vs STD Vehicles, the degrees are wrong. Right now militia AV is a poor joke while MLT vehicles are are viable and useful simply because there are more degrees within the power curve of AV than of Vehicles. However with a restored vehicle field there are more 'knobs' to fiddle enabling more fine tuning and more diversity. Content, balance, and game play would all be served by including these vehicles once more (and yes, they would need a balance pass... like the entire AV vs Vehicle situation does already).

make it tanky as hell but no weapons.. and CRU is a -5% pg/cpu perlevel used on logi dropship while +10% range on logi armor/shield rep per level.. like a flying version of an APC/MAV(if they ever make those)

We can't have spider tanking anymore thanks to the way armor and shield reps work now. It would just be way too broken. CCP straight up killed any hope of Logi ships coming back when they drastically dumbed down the the vehicles.

Perhaps we should make it just that: a dropship. Super tanky, slow, give WPs for spawns (don't remember if that was already a thing with them but it should be noted anyway), and perhaps enable it to rep vehicles like the LAVs? Or would that be too much? |

Give Logi vehicles the ability to resupply dropsuit AND vehicle ammo in a certain vicinity around them. Make them basically mobile nanohives. Give us a vehicle remote repper with a range of 50m, and give them a 500% boost to range of vehicle remote reppers, so that other vehicles can fit them, but only logi vehicles can use them effectively. Make them super tanky, so they can not be destroyed instantly.

Should be less WP than an uplink because of ease of use. It's mobile, well protected, and (afaik) has infinite spawns. Maybe 15 like an assist.

As everyone said, a use is needed. As awesome as the CRU aspect is, its kinda blah (and can be done). Remote reps, of any kind... that's difficult. They would need really good range to be effective.
You have to look at what a Logistics does in this game: Revive, Rep, Resupply, Scan, Demolitions, and Spawn.
Revive is out of the question.
Rep, as already stated here and elsewhere, would need a decent range buff to be worthwhile.
Logistics with a Supply Depot-ish concept would be interesting, but, make it only restockable (not suit changing) with finite nanites that require a return to a Supply Depot.
Scanning can already be done.
Demolitions... Lol, jihad LDSs with an exploding base for blowing up tanks... Or the ability to drop mines...
Spawning can already be done as well.
If you find an issue and I stumble upon your thread, I will do my darnedest to get the issue known.

This would make some sense, another alternative would be to put the WP earnings on a 'soft cap' cool down just like the repair tool, nanohives, and injectors.
Both methods have the pros and cons but it would be good to get something in place.

Note: of course this would further squeeze infantry support logistics, but then again the whole role badly needs some love and attention on many fronts so in this instance I don't think that squeeze is a net loss.

I'd also like to see a MSD (mobile supply depot) module. Land after a push, mercs come over and start restocking their ammo or change fits etc. Can also resupply in the air. Cannot rep vehicles, that would be crazy tho maybe if they had to be landed to have the effects kick in it might work. Pilot would receive team resupply points. |

1: LLV already takes the role as the repper. Giving the LDS repping bonuses would make the LLV pointless, especially since you give it not only that, but also you give it CRU.
2: tanky as hell compared to what? a DS? that's not much even then.
