Shield buff - you should all now be dual tanking armor and shield. Enjoy being OP. o/
and lol @ upgrading standard heavy suit pg/cpu - that was seriously not needed.

It already melts away like it's nothing. Don't start QQing about this...

What shield buff? Only non-complex mods were improved. What kind of Amarr Sentinel uses anything less than complex? Or are you referring to the energisers and regulators?

Yeah NO Amarr heavy should ever be using shield mods.
But there IS an exception. Dealing with scouts at range, it would probably help more than a second damage mod. Especially with an Assault HMG.

Wait, they said 'generously' buffed shields - are you guys saying the actual buff isn't 'generous' and the dev blog was miss-leading?

Lulz at duel tanking amarr sentinels. The only time an amarr should be duel tank is if the are gunning in a derp or lav, otherwise damage mods on the high end, always.

Actually, you gain more EHP then you gain DPS with Cmplx SE's then you do Damage Mods. Dual Tanking heavies have always been the way to go for an anti-heavy suit, and with shield buff it's even more so.

They buffed everything except complex extenders.
Which they did reasonably generously, but not in a way that's useful for armour-tankers.
I imagine more shield-oriented suits would be enjoying themselves; I know my CalScout is having a good time with the extra fitting I get from dropping a shield tier.

Of course it was needed, there was no increase with tiers like with all other suits. And it was only the Basic Heavy.

I've been using the Templar Heavy suit as my pub suit - and it's incredibly strong, able to stand up to proto, and I can still mostly put proto everything if I leave the nade out.
What exactly is balance for a heavy suit to you compared to other roles? Was it buffed simply to suit a pattern of tiering up like other suits have - or was it not performing?
I really doubt it was due to performance.

You do realize Rattati is talking about the Basic Heavy, not the Basic Level Sentinel suit (which is what your Templar suit is), correct?
The Basic Heavy does not receive role bonuses. These suits, minus the Amarr Heavy, did not have increased CPU/PG when you went up the tiers (since they were introduced).
The Amarr Basic Heavies, according to the spreadsheet, actually had a CPU nerf...
If you find an issue and I stumble upon your thread, I will do my darnedest to get the issue known.
Also, Raptors...

And it getting nerfed was something that happened in Alpha, I believe. As my Pub suit was red after that update. Not that it mattered, templar suit is OP lol
