Isn't the scouts role stealth? 1 class with fulk stealth mods shouldn't be scanned tbh. When assaults get buffed scouts will need it. TBH the scanner nerf was actually a buff to the Gallente logistics. They use to not have a bonus to dB. I think CCP went the wrong way about this. I would actually rather they not change the active scanner or lessen the bonus, because the scanner is literally unplayable on other suits. Good job on diverse builds CCP...

Well they need to make it so any scout that fills all lows with damps is not scan able. It's only 1 class, like really. The thing is, the scout isn't really that useful with all dampeners unless it's a Caldari or Minmatar, which is pretty scan-able. The Gallente should not be scan-able with 1 complex dampener. As unfair as it sounds, it is the job of the Gallente scout to be dampened easier then the other scouts, meaning they have to sacrifice less. As this makes them more attractive, the Amarr just needs to have a more worthwhile bonus. This would also make the Minmatar PC viable, as having a great bonus like hacking speed and nova knife damage is not useful when you are scanned... For the Caldari Scout: he is the scout hunter. However, squad shared vision must be removed (I thought they removed it a while ago?), and Gallente scouts need to sacrifice the same amount of dampeners as opposed to the amount of precision enhancers the Caldari scout has to make it fair, as it already has the edge with dampeners having 5% more dampening while having a lower base dB. EDIT: what do we perceive scouts to be? That varies from person to person, and until that get's cleared up, we will not be at peace no matter how "balanced" it becomes.

Improving the assault is then my preferred counter to heavies, not nerfing heavies, most likely through racial tanking improvements, pure damage output and regen. Just my general thoughts on the subject. I saw Adding more heat won't fix its ttk issue. Really what do guys like you, want? First the TTK was real short and guys like you complained.
