I'm thinkin' of skilling into a 'motorstorm' saga fitting, but I'd like to know if there is any difference between the two. It doesn't look like they're different from one another, anyone else? |

Saga 2 has a built in 60% shield hardener that has no fitting costs aside from taking up one of your two high slots.

Yes it also had a better regen, probably nerfed at the request of mewling federation kittens, wanna see race bias, check the mlt suits gal scum.

Dear OP,
Don't be fooled with customization. When it comes to LAV, there's three choices. Tank, Scan, or speed.
If you choose speed, Saga I is for you. If you chose Scan or Tank, Saga II.
The built in Hardener with one complex shield extender assures that nothing in this game can one shot you without a critical hit to the LAV weak point *Hood*
With shield regen broken, Saga II value skyrockets. You'll shield rep through all arms fire, and you'll laugh off commandos running around with swarms who will literally just tickle you.
MLT Rails and Blasters are also completely ineffective against Saga-II - literally doing no damage when hardener is on. Takes proto with damage mod to bring the Saga-II down fast enough for shield rep and speed not to get him to safety.
The only real threat is a vet tanker, a forger who has it out for you and is smart enough to speed his suit instead of dmg mods, and Installations.
Mostly just installations, really.
